Nice setup! One question though. Have you tried with only two big plates in each cell and hooked them up in series? That should be even more efficient than the nice setup you have now. But it might be difficult to get more than 1.lpm, because it will be hard to get more than 6-10 amps through then.
naw....mmw is way to low. draw 18 amps at 3 to 5 liters....look up yikes cell...nice cell but efficiency is mandatory to make this stuff work. i would copy another design before i would put that in my car

You should need very close spacing in series cell to get enough amps through. Perhaps just 0,3-0,5mm between plates.
