  • switzerland is an independent country.it has every right to preserve its culture, identity, language, religion and heritage.if muslims dont like it plz say good bye to them and leave it nicely.i am muslim i dont see anything wrong in it.same goes for Western hemisphere and West.as in the video man said the problem is not islam it just does not sit in swiss or western wat.than whats the problem.i am for swiss.

  • You're understand nothing! You're mixing everything... Fucker!

My best friend is black and muslim...

    And I'm swiss

  • @borsak7 Who gives a shit? Is it necessary for every Swiss person to have Black Muslim friends? I think not. Do having these Black Muslim citizens enhance Switzerland in any profoundly tangible way? No. Calling people you disagree with "fucker", or even "racist"/"bigot", much like most other liberals do, defeats the very purpose of arguing your opinion in the first place. People, like this guy, are entitled to their opinion.

  • terrible thing to happen to the world

minarets have nothing to do with Islam extreamists

and btw "white christians" has had just as many extreamists

  • I agree on having more freedom and being able to recall referendums. But, I don't see why Muslims free to practice their religion, as well they should be can't build minarets? You talk about freedom of the people and you hold in high regard some right-wing fascist party that dates back to pre- WWII. The swiss are the worst two-face bastards when it comes to freedom. If there was any money to be made from muslims, every god damn swiss would be urged to give up catholicism. Yer policy is halfassed

  • No money of the world would turn me into a muslim.

  • The Swiss vote is hardly a vote against muslim in Switzerland. Swiss muslim are well integrated, despite the fact that they make up the majority of the prison population. It's not a contradiction but stemming from the fact that crime rate is relatively low. However, Swiss do look at what is happening beyond their borders and feel disgusted by what is happening in England, Netherlands and Sweden. They feel disgusted by french muslims burning thousands of cars just for fun.

  • 1- It is a vote against the spread of muslims in Switzerland.

2- Activism and rebellion is not an act of random fun. It is a reactionary mouvement. And like anything in life it is triggered by stress, refusal of the overall status quo. In the case of muslims in france, it's because despite being educated, a very insidious ofrm of racism keeps them from getting anything but a job serving in a café. The psychology that breads in these environnements is a countercultural one.

  • Yeah, I know that line of reasoning. Strangely enough other immigrant groups facing the same problems don't display the same destructive behaviour. I suppose that muslim riots in Swedish Malmö too are an act of rebellion against to oppressive welfare state ? Again - it's not a vote against muslims but a vote against islamo-fashist. Sikk's were able to build an impressive temple in Switzerland without problems. Why is that ?

  • Totally agree!

  • Hi I am Swiss. What you write sounds very prejudiced.

The Swiss are the worst two-face bastards? Only? All other people are cordial and honest?

I am glad, we forbid these shitty towers as most muslims are not yet ready for freedom. And now, they noticed that we don't look away anymore.

  • Canadians, Americans and Australians would do well to study the success and methods of the British National Party and the other sensible moderate parties of Europe which are often described as "far-right" - they only seem "far" or "to the right" when they are tagged so by the Marxists of corrupt old media outlets.

  • NWO's biggest enemy is the Religion...be it Islam or Christianity. Hence, the endless media and millitary wars against this two great faith. Islam and Christianity is vilified through historical distortions, edited images by you know who...

History is written by the victors. Certainly Islam and Christianity are not the victors of the last three centuries.

  • Mr. Christie,....Well said! The more power

the politicians have, the more they usurp the rights and freedoms of the people!

There are several locations in the USA that would like to secede from the country.

(I am not just talking about the South, i.e.Texas and the "Bible Belt")

Good luck to you! Referendums and Initiatives are a great way to keep the polilticians in check!

Hurrah for the Swiss !!!! :-D

  • NWOs endless crusade against the universal way of life...Islam!

  • The NWO-Globalism and Militant Islam are equally vile ideologies!

Mr. Christie is talking about the use of referendums and initiatives to reduce the power of politicians and special interest groups.

Smaller government is always more responsive to the will of the people.

If you don't believe me; just wait until the taxes in Europe start to go up to cover the EDF, and all kinds of EU mandates!

You'll probably wish you were Swiss or British by then....(Militaries are not cheap!)

  • @BoudiccaBlanc

Equating any form of Islam with NWO shows utter ignorance of the both. Islam opposes economic monopolies hence prohibition of interest/usury, trading of speculation etc. In Islam, wealthy people are obliged to reinvest 2.5 percent of their disposible income back into the economy through "Zakah" and the same is applicable to the traders. Along with other economic measures this ensures cash flow/money supply isnt controlled by the few...

  • @ bdvzim...

    Read carefully...."Militant Islam"

There is a world of difference between the average Muslim and the Militant Muslims who demand that all bow to their particular interpretation of Islam.

Equating the average Muslim who views his/her religion as a source of comfort is like equating the average Christian with Pat Robertson and his ilk!

You might be enlightened regarding my views if you read my replies (approx 9 of them) to "badgeless" on this video site.

  • 2 @bdvzim...

Jews are commanded to give 10% of their income back to God.

Christians view the 10% as a guidline. Everything we are and have belong to the Lord. So, to give away all and to follow the Lord's command to spread the Gospel, feed the hungry, etc. is the ideal.

(such as nuns and monks do)

Marriage and raising a family in a Christian environment is also considered to be a noble endeavor. Believe me, it's not an easy job!

  • 3 @bdvzim...

    Let's face it...

The NWO is against humanity! It's guiding light is Satan; it's method is Globalism (an economic race to the bottom for all who participate)!

Mr. Christie is right about referendums and initiatives; both serve as a check rein on the politicians & special interest groups.

The EU and the USA govt. (since 1913) have usurped the God-given rights of mankind and their desire to have a more localized government that is responsive to the people's desires!

  • @bdvzim ...income back into 'the economy'. By which means? If you mean by giving the money to your governement or church, it qualifies as contolled by the few.

btw If you want to have community give municipaly and the municipality should then have a say in the greater scheme of things. Never the other way around. It's called idealism though and it will never happen. When you have power you gain veto, it's just the sad truth. Get real everyone, why is this a discussion?

  • Today is Friday. How will the imams and mullahs preach?

Tolerance and education of the reality that 95% of the Swiss populace want their country to look like Switzeralnd: not Istanbul or Bosnia?

    OR..........

Hate for the Kuffir and a call for rioting?

I hope that the governments got the word out that there will "Zero Tolerance" for rioters; and that looters will be killed on site! If not, they deserve what they get. If the word was out; the blame is on the religious leaders' heads

  • Are you equally upset about fundamentalist Christian Pat Robertson calling for the assassination of a democratically elected head of a sovereign nation?

Or his fervent call for the slaughter of the Armageddon?

The Christians murdering doctors and bombing clinics performing legal medical procedures?

The Jew who slaughtered 29 Muslims praying in their mosque?

The Jewish slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza? ...

Of course you're equally disgusted by their violence. Are you?

  • (1 of 5)....@ badgeless...YES!!!

As a Christian who tries to follow Jesus' example; I am disgusted by all of that you have mentioned.! Jesus never called for the execution or killing of anyone or any group!

Jesus also supported civil peace and the separation of church and state ("Render unto Caesar's what is Caesar's and what is God's to God.") As a Christian; I am commanded to "be in this world; not of this world" (aka...Don't support "this world's" agendas)

  • (2 of 5)....@ badgeless

    1) Pat Roberson. In my opinion, Pat Robertson is supporting a "Neocon nut-case" agenda by spouting Biblical verses to support Globalistic and Messianic ideals. He is invested in promoting (along with others) the building of the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem. These people believe that they can "hasten" the return of our Lord and Savior by their own activities. In my opinion, this behavior is somewhere on the scale between prideful behavior (sin) and blasphemy.

  • (3 of 5)....@ badgeless...Continuing w-Pat Robertson...As a Christian and a citizen of the Republic of the United States of America; I disagree with Mr. Robertson's stance regarding foreign interference. Christians are commanded by Christ to be ("in this world, not 'off' this world").

As much as I would like to see the peaceful world; as promised after Jesus'

Second Coming...I am well aware of the prior suffering and destruction as describe in the Bible.

  • (4 of 5)...@ badgeless....The Middle-East...

What can I say? So many wrongs have been committed on both sides...I'm revolted by all of it!

I feel very sorry for the children in those places. I wish that we could remove all the radicals (on both sides) put them on an island and let them kill each other off!

None of them seem to be capable of rational thought!

  • (5 of 5)....@ badgeless...

All life is given by God. None of us, nobody, has the right to take the life of another..for any reason! Those who state otherwise have embraced evil!

badgeless, I hope that I have clarified my position regarding the topics in your post.

  • Why is it right for Muslim countries to ban Crosses on top of christen churches or to even build them good on Switzland

  • Every Muslim country in the world has Christian churches with crosses. Some new and some over 1,000 years old.

Without a doubt there is bigoted opposition to Christian churches in some areas. If this video of Christie's proves anything it proves religious bigotry is not bound by a particular belief. A fringe of righteous wackos of all stripes are threatened by someone else's faith.

As an atheist I think they're all stupid but I respect their right to their own brand of stupidity.

  • No, it is not muslims or colour, it is Islam and the teachings of Islam which is violent, hateful, hatefilled, threatening, full of suppression, calls for death to anyone who disagrees with it.. death to gays, and apostasy, so please... I am not a racist, but Islam is, very vividly, and I support this action.. good on the Swiss

  • Is it bible verses like this that convince you Muslims are violent?

"I say to you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. As for my enemies who do not want me to reign over them, bring them here and kill them in my presence"

Billions of Muslims live in peace. Religious extremism does not characterize the entire faith.

Who seems to condone violence in the bible quote above? Jesus (Luke 19:26,27)

  • 4-4 @ badgeless ...(cont.)

Therefore the "unfaithful servant" is denied Heaven...Because they didn't lead their life per Christ's teachings.

The "unfaithful servant" kept the good news of God's love and salvation from others (sort-of-a "I've got mine" attitude)

That's the sin (per the parables) and why they will be "cast out" (per Matt 25:14-30)

    OR...

"killed" (a spiritual and physical death--i.e. denied entrance into Heaven...per Luke 19:11-27)

  • 1-4 @ badgeless...

You've taken one sentence of Luke 19 and omitted the entire passage that preceded it--which would explain the verse!

Luke 19:11-27 is the parable (a story with a moral lesson) of the a king It's called the "Parable of the 10 Minas"

NOTE: "The Parable of the Talents" (Matthew 25:14-30) is similar.

The key in both parables is that the "king" and the "master" are characters representing God. The sevants and subjects are "us" (people) who are subject to God

  • 2-4 @ badgeless...(cont.)

What is being said in both parables (...short version...) is that all of us are given gifts from God.

The "faithful servants" exercise "good stewardship" Their gifts are multiplied.

Their gifts are used to glorify God and to spread the good news of God's love and salvation for humans.

Those who use those gifts to promote the word of God and to help others (justice) will be rewarded in Heaven.

On the other hand, the "unfaithful servants" (cont..)

  • 3-4 @ badgeless....(cont.)

The "unfaithful servants" do not execise good stewardship. Their gifts are not

    multiplied.

They don't use their gifts to spread the word of God, to promote justice or to give alms....or anything else...they keep it hidden away and don't share!

The "unfaithful servant doesn't see God

as loving and just...even though they've been given gifts. They refuse to live as Christ commanded them...i.e. total reliance on God and love for others....(cont...)

  • I cannot agree here. a majority vote should never be used to deny individual or minority-community rights. that is not democracy. I'm all for referendums but they should never be used to remove rights and liberties. live and let live. there is no right to not see minarets just as their is no right to not be perturbed by a group's free speech. you are wrong on this one DHC.

  • Minarets are harmless in themselves, but I'd say that justice must remain secular.

  • There's a fine balance between democracy and freedom of religion and expression. The government of a "free" country such as Switzerland should not interfere in religious or artistic expression both of which collide in the topic of minarets, an example of islamic architecture.

  • Islam is an ideology, not a harmless religion. Refer to the United Kingdom for an example of it imposing laws against others. The Shiria courts are extremely sexist and defeat the purpose of democracy.

If these people wish to live in Islamic socities, then they can live in the Middle East. They have no place imposing their law on others.
