It's absolutely true that the system of unfairness and forced confessions is very real and long-standing. But why lend credence to Tom Cummins' eroneous "confession" which btw, wasn't anything like a real confession, but was just a "get off my back" offhand, brief comment by someone who had been awake 30+ hours. Let's ignore confessions on both sides then and just look at the evidence, who had who's belongings, who bragged, changed their story, etc. These 4 did it.
