i love auto loaders. truth be known, these haters wouldn't know how to get the truck into gear, much less operate the bed, if they got the pto on. the under-lift got stuck on the curb, and that happens a lot, even with us good drivers. that appears to be a chevron bed. i personally prefer the jerr-dan because it gives a little more visibility, at least in my experience.

Recovery agent are not responsible for your shot brakes. Can you pove that the brakes were not shot beforethe unit was towed. Do you have a video of your "good brakes" from right before the unit was repoed. That's the only thing that will stand up in court. I didn't think so.

Leaving your hand brakes on does nothing. All that does is nothing at all. If you leave your hand brake on, I will drag your Car out of your driveway, thereby making it an official repo, doesn't matter if you come out, if it's on public property, it's mine. Then I will get out, unlock your car and dis-engage your brake. All in all, it turns a 5 second repo into a 30 second repo.

As a matter of fact, I've seen a lot less repo trucks in my city since we started this effort a year ago. A couple local repo outfits have gone out of business, there's just a handful of trucks that drive in from the city now. Repo men are just hired thugs working for big banks, and big banking isn't real popular right now.

Yep, my car was stolen in '03 and I've been stopping legalized car theft in my neighborhood ever since. The people are getting wise to this scam thanks to the recession. If anyone knew anything about the self loader they would know this is a common issue due tot he width of the stinger a vehicle parked that close to the curb dosent allow the grid to close right and you have to do what this guy did.

I assure you no damage was done to the car being picked up. Ive done this many times myself and nver had a damage related to this method!
