This is a clear attack on stripper lovers like myself. How am I going to slip a dollar coin into a strippers g-string, and how is she going to seductively grab the coin off my lap with her lips? Are we going to be forced to tip the dancers with $5 bills? Every gentleman's club in the industry should require coin pouches for the dancers.

The dollar coin can save our country millions of dollars. Using dollar coins is making a statement that you want our country to survive and prosper. We spend millions of dollars recalling and shredding old $1 bills. Use 'em, folks. They are actually very convenient. And they look nice.

These Coins are worthless. They aren't even U.S. Currency. Search US Currency refused at PO. I just tried to get a 250 dollar money order. I had 2 hundred dollar bills and 2 rolls of Presidential Dollars. Paper money was accepted but not the Coin. The Post Office told me their Bank will not accept them. Check it out for yourself.

Great vid. The best thing to spur the use of dollar coins in the US would be to discontinue or seriously decrease the use of the one dollar bill. I try to use them where I can, though the SBA's I save for vending machines.

Whoa, you really get into the coin deal.. I did when I was a kid.. I had some coin everyone told me was worth a few grand. My entire jar turned up stolen. Now a got about 9 or 10 different old coins.. All not really worth no more than their face value..

The idea that these coins are "collictible" is laughable. With mintages in the tens and hundreds of millions, all going straight to "collectors," they'll never be worth more than face value. The US gov't, our Congress, has turned its mint into just another coin mill. It's a collection, but if you want a valuable collection, this isn't it.

i don't think so. who wants to carry around a ton of dollar coins. but i collect them. i send them to my mom so i don't spend them with all my money i collect from around the world. some are really funny. i hate the star thing. i buy the bank rolls most. oh yeah i got some rare coins that way. and its cheep. you can reserve them from the bank if you always buy them from the same bank when they come out with a set buy rate. peace. gregg
