  • wow, no stupid people clicking the dislike button! :D

    R.I.P

Mr.Smith.. thank you for the wonderful music! you will be missed.. <3

  • These old tracks always seem so fresh and new to me.

  • i would've given my left nut to see him on this tour, unbelievable!

    RIP

  • I love him sorry I can not help you find this but if you find out anything please let me

  • ANYBODY KNOW WHERE TO FIND TABS FOR THIS?!?!?! I just get can't find them :(

  • sweetaddeline google it

  • Some damn fast chord changes... Cleanest live version of JBT I've come across--- thank you for this.

  • Figure 8 is an amazing album

  • At first for some reason it sounded like he had an english accent

  • What I notice is how he continued to improve his shows, especially tightening up his band peroformance. Also, these songs are not easy to play live, particularly Elliott's guitar picking while he is playing, and yet his timing is flawless. He is so good.

  • couldn't have said it better myself

  • He was so good, it's tough to listen to music nowadays- I still do, of course, but i always find myself comparing it to Illiotts. It doesn't have to be the same style or genre- but it just never can match up to him. Death Cab for Cutie is pretty cool. But I think the really good players know this guy was great and they can't match up to him.

  • i love this song probably the happiest song he wrote

oh elliott i miss you so much

  • You don't find the words behind metaphors to lyrics, do you...

  • i love the fuckin augmented chord he uses. a reflection of his insides - beautiful, and augmented.

  • ce dudde est intestable!!

  • Love this song. Thankyou!

  • what a song!!! my fave elliott smith song, from his best album in my opinion!!! great guitar!!!

  • Agree on the song, its my favourite Elliott Smith song too. But I would say Either / Or is by far and away his best album ... I suppose because it has my other favourite Elliott Smith song, Cupids Trick ... hehe!

  • Elliott Smith really knew his guitar.

    So fucking amazing.

  • LEGEND! Biggest loss of my generation :( Thank you infinity for posting...

  • Check out jeff buckley, they were both amazing but buckley was a far superior singer, not to say elliott wasn't a good singer, more to imply that Buckley was one of the greatest male singers of the 20th century. They are both, however, amazing artists.

  • ^ you are 100% dead on. the two biggest losses in my generation.

  • Jeff Buckley was probably one of the greatest male voices of all time, let alone the 20th century. There really is a lot of comparison to the way they both went about songwriting, though the product isn't necessarily the same.

I miss them both so much.

  • check out tim buckley you will explode

  • dude have you heard of tim burton? he has some really amazing films, you'll probabl explode.

    in your pants.

  • R.I.P. Elliot Smith

  • holy shit that was so good.

  • Does anyone know what show this is from? Place/Date?

  • this is from Irving Plaza in New York. it was on 2000-05-17.... it was a fanastic show....it looks like a pro camera job but i dunno

  • @tripleb88 it's not, in the irving plaza he used a t-shirt that said 88'

  • @stainypoo That was from '99. This is from 2000.

  • same show as mr. goodmorning! so good.

  • First video of a live performance of this I've seen so far. Thanks a lot for posting!

  • holy fuck he just blows me away

  • thank you for this

  • Holy shit! Awesome!! Great find!

  • big props for posting this :)

  • Thanks! :)

  • I wish I was there
