yes that was a good session for LWT it all seems such a long time ago but it is amazing how many people I meet that used to follow the Razors I still keep in touch with a few members of the band but have all gone their seperate ways now. I am pleased you enjoyed the music and the Replays and Darts I feel that the Razors were a much better live band, I now buy and sell vintage drums as a hobby.
Yeah, I can image it must have been great 'way back when'. I have the Razors c.d. Absoloutely love it!!! Still hope somebody is going to post 'So Hard To Laugh' here!!!
Yes, sort of... he clearly considers himself to be the big "cult" "star" of the group and is in fact just a rude bigheaded ###. Or at least he was when we met him and tried to speak pleasantly to him about the "good old days" after a Metrotones gig in London last year.
hey bubbles here just been told about this video brings back memories !!!!!!Shame we all had to grow up, well some of us did anyway LOVE YOU ALL. BUBBLES.
That's Big Den Hegarty singing with Rita, Griff and Horace (sax) from DARTS! Bob joined in '76 when they left Rocky to Form Darts... with Thump (bass guitar), George (Lead guitar), Professor Hammy Howell (keys) and John Dummer on drums.
See Darts live at The 100 Club, Oxford Street, London, this July - Sat 12th. All sold out last time - so don't delay!
Rocky, Big Den, Johnny Stud, Griff Fender, Slick (who became Rita Ray in Darts)- all on vocals; Rhino on guitar, Horatio on horn, Barmy Baz on piano, Machine Gun Max on stand up bass and of course Bubbles on the drums.
@RockinRedRover
A bit unfair, that. After a gig isn't the best time to catch anyone for a chat - maybe next time pop by before the gig? I like Den a lot personally.
