At the end when Mammy Two-Shoes attacks Tom and throws him out of the house, just after she says: "Thomas! Get off of that bed!", why is Jerry seen during the crashing and smashing sort of curled up in a ball while standing up with his eyes closed? And why is he smiling at that part? I never quite understood it. He does similar in other episodes while Tom gets beaten up.

@Jeorge535 simply because the mom shouts loud so it's an expression of the instinct that you close your eyes and sort of doing that pose with your face when exposed to loud noises (that you arent ready for).

he is similing because he knows that Tom is gonna get it real soon because of his trick.

@EPICferb Dogs are more susceptible only because they have a greater tendency to eat large amounts at once (or at all - cats are finicky).

It has to do with the caffeine and something called theobromine - and note that baking chocolate and dark chocolate are the worst offenders for both chemicals. (White chocolate has the least effect but probably better not to chance it anyway.)
