I'm confused..you said sheepskin nosebands stop them from lookin down so they concentrate more then that it makes them put their head down and concentrate on the jump which is down?Purdie didn't need one she just needs someone to keep her under control and responsive.A hores vision coming upto a jump is weaker when their head is down as they can only see so far above the fence that is why you see horses coming off the bit to put their head up so they can see the fence but some just take the piss

Nah shes not really 100% i jumped 3ft6 on tuesday & then the vet said she was stiff on wednesday..it wasnt my fault it was cos she was standing in from 6 at night until 12 the nxt day grr. lol! H backed me up so its ok & shes stil allowed 2 jump..just not big grr. Even u know she wouldnt jump a tinyyy jump if she was lame never a okish sized one. :( ahh well. :) x x
Haha but then she wouldn't be able to see the jump at all? Thats her problem with jumping she is too speedy and well speed kills! Had a jmping lesson on her last night was really good and productive :) did you say your going sj this weekend at some point? how was HOYS for you? It was AMAZING!! xxx
Yeh sheepskin nosebands work with Alice, makes them put their head down so they concentrate on the jump cos she puts her head up & then cant see it properly. Cool.

Thankyouuu :) urmm she kept trying to run out to that side but I half halted her and turned her into it more and she was fine.. maybe coz the lower pole is it an angle..and she hasn't jumped jumps which she doesn't have to look down at. No ideaaaa will ask though when I have my jumping lessons with her :) xxx

ah right, half halting works 4 ali had a lesson jumping with her earlier was fab..taking her sj on friday so hope she doesnt break down :(
