and n85 is slide telephone... up and down (if u slide down, u get things for play music (as n95 )

I have the N80 and the wi-fi is lousy. Once you're web surfing, the signal gets lost very often and you have to be real close to the source of signal to get a smooth web browsing experience. The camera is also mediocre for 3 MP.

for people who want to lock it manually without sliding it back up and down to lock it, press the top off button and then it will come up with a few options, 1 switch off then 2. lock keypad then the others are just the usual silent and general

OH, and by the way, for the benefit of US posters, having a bit of a squabble on this page, when I was in NY earlier this year, despite arranging profile roaming with my network, I could barely get a signal on the N80. America, seemingly, doesn't yet have a proper network yet for 3G. This is surprising.

I see from other YouTube videos that there is a simplified version of Tom Tom Sat Nav for Symbian on the N80. This could be nice, but I'm sure it will be GPRS and not WI-FI. As I pay for GPRS WAP on my contract, this might be useles, but still, if I can get hold of it, it'll be a bit of fun before my contract expires.

Nokia N80 is the best cellphone I ever owned. BUT, I can clearly see now that it is probably the worst smartphone on the market. Nokia didn't lie. It has a 3.2mpx cam (which is disappointingly substandard) and DOES have the ever-handy, but slow, WI-FI connectivity. Thankfully, I'm out of contract soon and can upgrade to another handset I will no doubt be slagging off a year from now!

Its a shit. the OS has a many bugs and the camera somtimes crash the entire system. the N73 is better that phone.
