They made the animation of this show bad for a reason, they wanted it to be close to that of the original Speed Racer, for obvious reasons. If it was all high-techy and had amazing animation and such, it wouldn't be Speed Racer anymore. Remember, it's supposed to be a continuation of the original series, not a new one. Apparently they're doing something right, the other spin off series they attempted failed miserably, while this one is in the middle of its second season.

the design of the mach 6 in this nicktoons is MUCH better than the one in that movie, i love the lines of this car :s in the future, I would buy that car if they would produce it :p. its much more beautiful than the crap they make these days -_-

Of all the talented artists out there, how does this one person get to be head animator? I guess it's who you know and not how talented you are. For all the artists on Deviant Art and on Youtube that could pull of better animation than this and do fantastic artwork, I feel badly for them that some can't even break in to the business.

i completely hate all the toons from this time period... started in 2000 or something, when people who made tv series thought it didnt care if the cartoon is ugly ass. almost all cartoons from back in the day are really better in every aspect its kinda weird that these ugly cartoons keep coming up

At least Ren and Stimpy had decent animation and wasn't ugly, with new cartoons its amazing to even see a limb move. Shoot, Pokemons more of a cartoon than the "cartoons" that're on now!
