  • @Trzmx where?? :o

  • I love how you can see Belle in the crowd!

  • Congratulations, Frollo, you've discovered your first boner.

  • XD the goat's reaction XDDDD

  • 1:26

  • the guy that says "its the bell ringer of notre dame" actually looks like the clopin from the old silent film of the hunchback of notre dame.

  • "look at that disgusting display"

    "YES SIR!"

he's thinking, best orders EVER lol

  • For those of you talking about the 3D models this was not the first use. That would be the wildebeests in Lion King though if you really want to get particular the ballroom in Beauty and the Beast was CG.

  • I don't even watch passed the trick that intros Esmerelda anymore. I just wanna see Clopin perform.

  • we need to have topsy turvy day

  • Happy Topsy Turvy Day!!!

  • Happy Topsy Turvy Day!

  • It's January 6th here. Happy Topsy Turvy Day!

  • I think that Quasimodo is cute, though.. xD

  • Make it RAIN!!!!

  • Did anyone else see Frollo's jaw drop when Esmerelda came out?

  • When I was little I told my parents that I wanted to be just like Esmeralda. I never understood until now hwy this worried them. Esmeralda is a pole dancer :/

  • lmfao the goats reaction to Quasi.

  • did anyone notice @4:50 the guy with the stilts? total nutcracker xD

  • Is that goat a dude or a chic? It's name's Dalhi or something, right?

  • Quasi, be very happy this is 17th Century France, not Ancient Rome. After ruling over the festivities, you would have been ritually sacrificed at the end. Be glad Saturnalia became the Feast of Fools.

  • @Pamerl345 yeah, you know what else they didn't have in 17th century france? Singing gargoyles.

  • I used to have clopins job...till I took an arrow to the knee

  • @jjrocks22 how 'bout you take an arrow to the face

  • it's kind of sad, that's probably the best day of his life for all the wrong reasons

  • Clopin: The first ever known Troll xDD

  • im so glad it cut off before what happens. i cry everytime i see them throwing stuff at him D:

  • People back then knew how to party, hell even the animals. The dogs freaking walked their owners for Christ's sakes! We need to take some pointers. XD

  • 4:49 lol

  • There is something strange about the animation of the crowd? Their movement seems to be more smoother, and they seem to be 3d models

  • @Brianmaitland Actually, that's because they are. This was the first time Disney really experimented with 3D models because they were so much easier to use than animating an entire crowd. :) They used it again in Mulan when the Hun army ran down the mountain, I believe.

  • I like it

  • they didn't have ballons back then

  • @pamerl345 its a cartoon dude, you cant argue with their rules xD

  • I bet when she realized it wasn't a mask she felt really sorry....as she rightly should!

  • LOL at her goat at 1:25 xDD

  • LOL at her goat at 1:27 xDD

  • wow... didn't think youtube would highlight those fake numbers like they were real.

  • Every January 6th, millions of stilt walkers are killed by reckless festivities. For just ten coins, you can help a stiltman in need. Call the number below for more information.

    1-800-16-TOPSY That's 1-800-16-86779

  • yo that dude just got hit in the nutz

  • 2:51 keep it in your pants frollo.

  • the entire festival is only 5 minutes -.-

  • id love to live in the renaissance period cuz u dont get to do this kinds of things like this in the world anymore it looks rather interesting and fun lol and it is indeed 'topsy turvy'

  • @animefan0258 you do realize if you lived in the renaissance you'd likely be a peasant, scrapping together just enough to survive, working yourself to the bone to earn enough bread to feed you or you family? Unless you we're lucky enough to be born a noble you'd pretty much live in filth and sure once in a while have a festival to keep the peasants happy. My advance is pick up a history book, not everything was fun and games back then.

  • @ForsetiLover Sorry to interfere but I'd like to put in a 3d opinion.Well said so far but I don't think we're so better off today!I mean who now earns more than just enough?Normal people everywhere in the world nowadays work like slaves more than 8 hours a day just to get payed enough to go through the month with dignity.Just because we own a little house & a car you think it's better?Banks can take them back any time.Technology is making things easier otherwise we'd be in the same situation.

  • Clopin reminds me of the Black Prince for some reason.

  • Clopin is definitely my favorite character :)

  • What did that stilt walker do to deserve such punishment? And Clopin is being such a troll to Quasi. XD But I still love him. He's absolutely hilarious.

  • 1:05 "The fuck?"

  • oh man Frollo looks sooooo pissed at 4:40!

  • dude the first stripper:P lol <3 you Esmerelda ;)

  • "look, its his face, his hedious"!!!

    a-haaaa.... look who's talking!

95% of the people in the crowd look like shit!

  • I feel so ashamed of myself, I have yet to see this disney movie T-T

  • @TheSorrowfulSoul1 library, walmart,,fye shoo go now xD <3 this film its one of disneys most perfect films ^^

  • @Gleefreak47 unless ur in present day canada!!! english and french both party hard like that!!! GLAD TO BE CANADIAN :D

  • I really like the name of this song. x)

  • French people know how to party! It's sad that I'm english so I can't get invited. :(

  • @Gleefreak47 lmao, same :(

  • 1:04 1:08 1:11 1:42 2:22 3:24 3:32 4:42

You expressly SURE this wasn't filmed at last year's Anthrocon? XD

  • O.o What's Clopin doing at 3:34?!

  • Does anybody have a download for this song? I can never find the English version, only the Japanese >.<

  • @ToadStoolxX I know! Same here! i tried to download some of the songs but i only found the japaneese version! I get pissed!!!

  • lol 1st look at that disgusting display

-raises hat- yes sir!! lol love it!!! and 2nd ladies and gents the frist ever pole dance!!

  • so random. "it's the bell ringer of notre dam!" and clopin suddenly knows his name.

  • @Theatershorty have you forgotten? Clopin knows his whole life story! XD

  • @illia01 its the random guy that suddenly recognizes him that i find funny lol

  • @Theatershorty i also think it's funny how Joli (The goat) is the one to push the people off the platform. XD That goat rules!

  • @illia01 yeah he does!

  • @illia01 He doesn't even have to look before he kicks them off, the goat can just sense ugly.

  • @LiimLsan one more reason that goat is AWESOME!! <3

  • @Theatershorty Well, there would've been legends of the "mysterious hideous bell ringer" circulating around Paris for years. And if you see a guy that ugly, you just assume things. It is kind of weird Clopin knew his name, though.

  • @forevergamergirl clopin knows his whole life store. he's the narrator. (woo illia01!)

  • Wow, that is the fastest festival i have ever seen

  • Fun fact: Scrumpet is slang for whore. Now go look at the person who grabbed Quasi when the word was mentioned.

  • @LilMissBattleRoyale

    *strumpet :D

  • @therealcritic28 At first I couldn't believe that they would have THAT in a KIDS movie but considering the main villian is a lusty old man it doesn't seem all that out of place. Almost

  • @TahirK1189

Haha agreed. I'm surprised this movie didn't stir up very much contraversy.

  • Oh, Clo, don't you ever get your ADHD treated!

  • I just realised when looking at the crowd at 4:17 onward that they're all 3D rendering... I never noticed that before because I always just stare at Quasi being happy! D:

  • @GirGrunny I actually noticed throughout the whole sequence they were all just 3D. Wierd huh?

  • Heheh, a nutshot in a Disney movie.

  • Frollo: look at that disgusting dislplay

    Pheubus: YES SIR

    LOL

  • I'm jealous of anyone with the birthday of January 6th....

  • The Gypsies and the French know how to throw some smashin' fuckin' parties, I'll give them that.

  • 2:05 Clopin looks like he's flying off to save the day

  • @ XenofireX ......OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Look at Clopin behind Quasi at 3:35 xD

  • @XenofireX i don't get it lol

  • @wicca4991 its more just Clopin making that odd gesture behind Quasimodo, i recently had noticed it lol and thought to point it out. It gave me a chuckle hehe

  • Esmeralda, the original pole dancer.

    I love Disney :D

  • @NatsumiTagami

She's the reason why some girls in the 90s dance the way we do <3

  • i was her for our disney dress up day(: super fun.

  • Alternate pressing 4 and 5 to see Frollo assaulted by both Clopin and Esmeralda.

  • my heart always breaks when that tear rolls down quasimodo's face...

    so damn cute :3

  • See the stuff Frolo brushed off? That's Clopin's epicness. It just naturally follows him around.

  • 4:23 This, among many other reasons, is why I love Clopin :D

  • Me behave? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladdin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with 7 men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac Man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies that always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! If you had this childhood and loved it, repost !!

  • @ADJPease Repost this if you are a strong, independent, Youtube user, who don't need no actual discussion.

  • i think this feast of fools is a french version of mardi gras..... i think :D

  • @saruchan1992 Mardi Gras is French.

  • @CityofMuffins

i know that i just ment that the topsy turvy video reminds me off mardi gras

  • @saruchan1992 It means "Fat Tuesday."

  • attempted dancing to this song... I WIN!

  • 4:22 "Excuse me sir I am just going to borrow your leg.... Thanks"

  • what? if its early january, why is there no snow, or slush. It looks warm out enough.

  • @2SilverRings If I'm not mistaken, it doesn't snow much in Paris.

  • @2SilverRings Good point. I guess everything is Topsy Turvy... even the weather... hahahaha

  • Don't mind Frollo here, Folks. He's just a little bit absolutely livid.

That's not a look I'd like pointed in my direction *shudders*

  • "Ugly folks forget your shyness, you could soon be called your highness." XD

  • @ZibRocker You have to admit, pole dancing is quite a skill.

  • Did anybody else catch Clopin at 3:35? He was mocking Quasi. Funny stuff.

  • @ZibRocker or a "Ask your mother."

  • Clopin is dead sexy....In a mini skirt. (thumbs up if you get that)

  • @tarastronglover

    I love you.

  • @tarastronglover lol i got it!!

  • 2:33 " MUST..... HIDE..... BONER!"

  • 2:55 Tipping ones for the strippers back in the old days.

  • I think it's so clever when esmerelda pops out and they show the 3 leading men falling for her at the same time but in different ways.

  • Oh my gosh, look at that animation! It's insane!

  • ... watched this a million times as a kid and never before caught Clopin in a skirt... damn fine legs.

  • Clopin was my favorite character in this whole movie. And I admit to trying out Esmeralda's dancing when I was younger.

  • It appears that we crowned the wrong fool. The only fools I see are the 24 people who disliked this video!

  • It's like the Comic-con of the old days.

  • We watched this in class as part of B.Sing free time. All the boys slept until one woke up and noticed this scene. They all tapped each other and quietly started to watch, suddenly fascinated by a cartoon that, at the beginning of class, they considered "retarded".

    I'm 18.

    Bravo Disney, bravo.

  • 3:36 what on earth is Clopin doing behind Quasimodo? 0_0'

  • Why did quasimodo grow that length of hair over his good eye, wouldnt he want to cover the ugly half?

  • @shradegear You mean he has a good-looking half?

  • @AlaskaStreet I mean the half that is less deformed then the other "v_v

  • @shradegear I doubt he planned out which half of his face he was covering. He probably cut his own hair just to whatever length was convenient.

  • When I was in Paris, I was thinking of this song, and dancing infront of the Notre Dame :))

  • Holy shit Clopin actually makes a reference to prostitutes in this song, there is actually a reference to prostitutes in a kids movie.

The line is "Join the bums and thieves and strumpets."

A strumpet for those who don't know is an archaic term for a prostitute. I am dead serious

  • @TahirK1189 good ol Disney :))

  • @TahirK1189 Well, considering the main villain is an obsessive, lustful, murdering, abusive man, who also tried to drown a newborn, and claims all his actions are what god wants, I think Disney was fine with mentioning an old word for whores.

  • alright, I am sooo ready for january 6th of 2012!!! topssy turvy!!!

  • To those of you watching this, please look up "She left some of her clothes at our apartment" on google. (Just see what comes up.)

  • This scene is so upsetting. I always feel so bad for Quasimodo.

  • @ZibRocker Have you been stalking me?

When I first watched this, I said that exact thing!

  • 2:30 Those pervy guys are staring up Esme's skirt.

  • 5:00, the guy with "two faces"

I guess the mayor of Halloween decided to visit the festival too :)))

  • In reference to when Clopin recognized Quasimodo: I think Clopin knows more about Quasimodo than he's telling. Maybe he knew Quasimodo's parents, or at least his mother.

  • @ZibRocker i did!! hahaha

  • Guys, watch Clopin when Esmeralda takes Quasi to the stage (when the King of fools is about to be chosen). Goddamnit! What's this? I've been slutterong for 10 mins! I mean... My spoiled with slash brain can't produce any rational idea of WHAT was he doing.

  • @MsAcidOak I think he was trying to mimick Quasi, but who knows? It's Clopin for Christ sake!

  • he was the judge. it would be similar to the mayor or governor going to the state fair.

  • The question is why the hell would frollo dare attend the feast of fools as a guest, an honored guest

  • @crimsloch To keep an eye on the gypsies, I suppose :/

  • well guess what im doing on january 6 with my friends ;D

  • and 2:20 is my favorite part in the ENTIRE MOVIE.

  • This is now my fav holiday.

  • LOL Frollo's face when Esmeralda comes out. What a perv xD

And I never realized Clopin said this was Jan. 6th. So...apparently the last day of the Christmas Season is supposed to be a giant pre-Mardi Gras party? SWEET

  • My birthday is the 6th of January. :)

  • 160 whores? What the hell? Still this was funny. Now I know what I'm gonna do on "the sixth of January!"

  • @LPSLuvTetu99 Wait what? I don't they said that. I think you misheard them say "three hundred and sixty four."

  • @1:13 Clopin's wearing a skirt XD

  • @hyorinmarushiso103 and he's doing the cancan xDDDDD

  • how the heck did that guy at 3:57 know who he was i thought he was kept a secret...

  • @rozenmaiden144 he was a myth to the Parisians. They had heard of him, and gossiped but none knew for sure. In the beginning of the movie you see the Jester man talk about him.

  • @ZibRocker How many young boys got their puberty jump started by Esmarellda?

  • Might someone tell me where I can purchase clopins shoes?

  • 1:45 Smooth, Clopin. -.-

  • Im fairly certain he said "on the 6th of January" at 1:50 Im not totally sure if this is a real day (I know some ppl call Leap Day "Topsy Turvy Day") but I definitely know now what im gonna be doing on January 6th!

  • @aday4evr

I know the feast of fools on January 6 was in Victor Hugo's story, but don't know if that was something that would actually happen....

  • "look at that disgusting display"

    "YES SIR!! :D"

  • Frollo: Look at that disgusting display!

Guard (who's name I can't remember): Yes sir!

  • Remind me why this movie got a G rating.

  • @CCharmanderK cause the 90's were crazy?

  • @CCharmanderK Because this was back when people weren't pansies...

  • @CCharmanderK Because the 90s were awesome like that and pole dancing was okay.

  • I wonder how Frollo ever survived this encounter.

  • This reminded me of the song "God, That's Good" from Sweeney Todd :P
