@purpleflyingmonkeys4 Probably because you can't take it off and no matter what shows up on a kid's show, chances are when a kid grows up they'll figure out if they want a tattoo or not based on their own decision. 14-16 years later is a long time to think, I WANT A TATTOO SINCE I SAW IT ON SESAME STREET.

Now peer pressure? That stuff is the thing parents should REALLY be worried about. I didn't succumb to that but more than a lot of people have. But Sesame Street recently covered that as well.

I like the fact that one of them has tattoos. It's very common and little kids need to be used to that idea. It doesn't mean it's gonna set a bad example for them, just prepares them for what they see in public. My daughter will not be taught that people with tattoos & piercings are "different".

His parents ended up picking him up early and just because his parents saw "strange looking" people outside, they immediately freaked out at me and told me those people they didn't know were bad influences.

Just wanna say: I love Sesame Street. I have never enjoyed it in the original American version, but I love it. I don't care about tattoos or being gay BECAUSE THAT'S PART OF HUMANITY. In ancient Rome, it was normal to be homosexual, even more approved by male society than heterosexuality.
