is your transmitter a Futaba T6EX? if so, go into its setup options, and reverse channels 1 and 2. Then use the V-tail mixing option. Your controls should then be:
yeh you most likely have the servos in the wrong channel, try to not make them on the same control stick. Otherwise, the receiver thinks that when you press the control stick right, its supposed to move one of the servos forward. If you use two control sticks, then you can have forward as forward for both servos.
The controller I had for my Ant was a bit wonky too. If you moved the stick right, it goes left. Move it left, it goes right. It still worked good though...until I broke the controller. :(
that's big for an anteweight bot

Since the axe isn't very powerful, you should try to change it from an axe to a flipper thing.

Push stick forward, robot goes forward, Push stick left, robot turns left
Push stick right, robot turns right etc...

The axe is made from a bit of a sheet of copper (around 1mm thick), its then folded over to make it stronger.

I think inverting the controls will help with the robot. I noticed you use an axe, what is it made of?

Jerry11606 4 years ago
I know they are quite odd, I guess just practise and after a while your used to it
tomtomscott 4 years ago
nope a servo axe would causes no damage to anything, it would be better as like a grabber type thing
tomtomscott 4 years ago
he said servos aren't good enough to compete with, but one actually i think they could drive an axe pretty well.

ahhhhh gutted how did you break it, what controller did you have?
tomtomscott 4 years ago
It's one of those GWS controllers from banebots. The springs inside it are shot and now the joysticks won't go back into place.
