Overall, INCREDIBLE painting. I NEVER could've done anything like it. Just one thing, however, the top of the nose was a tad bit too light. Other than that, though, amazing! (The nose was still amazing as well, just colored a little wrong, unless you wanted it like that... but... it's a black nose, it can't turn light gray in pretty much any light.)

I fear you're out of luck as far as my template goes. See, my old computer ceased to work a while ago and so I got a new one for Christmas - the old one is in such a state that it doesn't even turn on anymore. I'm really sorry about that, but otherwise the fact that you'd like to use a template I never thought much of is awesome!

Thank you! Actually, I've seen it more often that GIRLS are better drawers than guys. At least, that's how I see it in my classes. Guys always come up to me asking me to draw for them if we have to do sketches or they ask me if I should do this or that regarding their art projects.

And thank you - however, I would like to point out that the correct phrase is "well", not "good. Sorry, it's just a little pet peeve of mine. =)

You make two layers - one is fro the black lines, the other is for the color. Make sure that the black lines layer is the layer that is on top. (You may want to name that layer "outline.") From there, you're good to go.

What you do is you draw your black lines (the outlines, I presume?) and then you set them as the top layer. Lock the layer don't move them from up there and you should be set!

I like the Pen and Touch very much (hey - that rhymed). It's just kind of weird because on my computer, sometimes it stops working. All you have to do is restart and unplug your tablet, but it's still a little bit weird. I like it though. That may just be my computer, a Dell Inspiron 1526 on Vista operating. The P&T is good though. I like it, but, like you, this is my first tablet, too. I'm not planning on changing it though.

@BrambletalonWarrior I did a fresh reinstall of XP on my laptop (I needed to do it anyway) and installed all the drivers n stuff along with photoshop elements 7....I will try using it and get back to you...as far as actually using the pen to move around...is it just me or does it feel sort of like writing on a dry eraser board? anywho, will get bak after I've had a chance to play around in Elements. thanks for the reply!

The pen takes a little getting used to. I guess it varies on who you are, because one of my friends absolutely hated the tablet and said it was annoying. I personally love the tablet. It'll take three days to a week to warm up to the feeling and get your pen pressure learned, but it's oodles of fun!

I'd be glad to help!

1. It didn't take me too long to learn to use it The only problem I really had with it was the amount of pressure I put on the pen, so some lines came out fat and others came out really thin. It took me maybe two days to learn how to use it.

2. I've always been really into drawing so I do a lot of of it and perfect the style each time. I also use books sometimes. If you go to a store, I'm sure you could find something!
