The Engines in the Jeeps and dodge pickups, were tuned for low end torque (350 lbs of torque at 3k rpm). Not high end horse power. The crate 5.9 magnum engines from chrysler put out nearly 400hp... Its the same engine as in the Jeep, which shows you these 5.9's can easily be changed in our vehicles.

As for the Hummer, they dont use Magnum engines. there is no such thing as a 6.2 magnum its just a 6.2 V8... The magnum line is Mopar only 3.9, 5.2, and 5.9

@1ownjoo2 Uh, my jgc and the cayenne both have permanent awd.. ;) the cayenne just has a lil more modern traction control etc, but when i put em both in the snow, my jeep is more fun to drive, better throttle response and i like the steering better for drifting.

My parents cayenne is a S, it lacks power on the throttle compared to the jgc.. ;) I would like to know what my jeeps top speed would be when it's not limited.. cuz the cayenne kicks my jgc's ass as soon as we're up to 90/100mph..

Jap import isn't even close to as good as American cars. However european cars are way better built, and 99% of them handle better than American cars. However the ZR1, Viper ACR, CTS-V are all raping their Euro counterparts on their on track the Nurburgring. Zr1 is quicker then a Ferrari Enzo. I do love my Cayenne Turbo though, and all my other European cars. You can't beat Italian though, my two Italian cars are my favorite.

Lada is the craziest car in the world. I have a nice Lada Niva here in Armenia, and i drive it the winter. i customized it real nice with wider wheels and good interior electronics and ect...It goes places that Porsche's and Range rovers wish they went. the only problem with lada is that when you buy it even when it is brand new, you have to take it apart and rebuild it the right way, the car is practically missing 30% of it's bolts and the roof will come off over 120km/h

Yeah I've discovered that while washing it, it is cheaply made. Think about it though, a Euro counterpart of the Z06, a car that performs as good and is built way better will cost upwards of 150k. So for 80k its a good deal, the car is brutally fast and has tons of grip and is a great track car.
