I'm so glad I found this! I wrote this song in 2004 when I worked as a freelance writer for Ignite Learning. I have no idea who did the music, but they nailed it! I imagined it as a fast-talking country song in the vein of Hank Snow's "I've Been Everywhere", etc. The song takes its title from Bob Dylan's "Watching the River Flow", a pop reference. Of course, there are more than 22 rivers in Texas, but these are the main ones taught in the Texas history books...

Omg! I remember this song from the COW in 7th grade!! XD Me and my friends still have this song memorized to a T and sing it on random occasions :)
