First, if you're on dial-up, I'm pretty sure you can't play it anyway. But if it's the client download you're having issues with, I would recommend either a) Buying a copy of the retail version, which gets you some extras that really help in the beginning, or b) having a friend with a very fast internet connection download the client and burn it to a dvd. And if you decide to get the retail version, I'd recommend getting the one with Romina on the cover.

lol I know, its pretty big, and now's even bigger since the expansion came out. I recommend downloading the game by parts from gamershell dot com
