  • GOTTA HAVE THT SUNSHINE THT MOONLIGHT,

    THOSE GOOOOOOD TIMES

    BOOOOOOGAY

  • yall r gud helped me alot

  • im from florida actually not that far from tampa and we dont do none of them these ways?! ares have a little more spice to them i guess you could say

  • If you go to the Dallas Bull this is how they dance it. I haven't been to the Round-up in forever, so they might have changed it over there.

  • @phoenixfire110 I never thought it was very simple. But I recognize yours as being right, the way my cousins were showing me and the dance floor was going. I saw some other video that was doing it different. I hope a lot of interchanging doesn't go on. One way is confusing enough. I could see better at the start, but kinda hard to follow broken up. The dog and furniture where in the way of seeing feet easily when you did it all and the turns and steps didn't look the same.

  • Yep, this is how we do it in FL!

  • omg your doggie and kitty are freakin' adorable!!!! XD hey you should do the soulja (spell??) boy dance, (or whatever hell it's called) next !!!!! haha!!!

  • haha, when there showing you the steps, look at the dog by the chair..haha

  • the girl on the left has bouncy boobs!

  • you're kidding me

  • Thanks to U girls I'm able to dance this kind of music, it was really helpful, specially for someone like me who lives in the border with Texas ... = ) once again thanks .. SON UN AMOR CON PATAS !!!, greetings from Juarez, Mexico

  • Thanx so much! this was really helpful. I'm going to use this video to teach my whole FFA chapter to do the Boot Scootin' Boogie! You guys rock!

  • thank you! :) I'm glad you found this helpful.

  • i have to leran this to teach in front of my whole class!!!

  • where ur FFA? were down in jupiter farms and love line dancin =]

  • we're in state college

  • THANKS

  • Love your dancing & your videos. think u should do more line dancing. would love to see more, but in some, especially during this one, it sounds like your floor and the boards are ready to crack & cave in under your feet. think you wore out that poor floor from dancing and jumping on it too much. would Love to see more but would suggest dancing in a different room on a different floor before u damage that one more or even break it. Unless, u don't Care about it or if u do? Great job though! =)

  • thank you again. XD lol. Yeah, our floor is a little squeaky, but it's been like that since we moved into the apt. Getting our apt refurbished, maybe they'll fix it, I'm not worried of it giving out though, Thanks for the concern. ;) Maybe I'll do the new videos outside in the grass, that would be interesting....hmmmmmmm....;D

  • wow. thought u were in a house. didn't realize u were in an apt. do you live Over anyone with that old squeaky floor? so if u broke a floorboard or two and went through, is there a basment below u or someone else's apt? u might be damaging their ceiling below besides your floor when u dance.

Last question on it, k? =) when u say ur not worried about the floor or boards giving out, do u mean ur 100% confident it won't or do u mean u don't Care about it if it does or u want it to? just curious.=)

  • lol, I'm 100% confident in my floors stability. :P I'm on a second floor, but at the time that I filmed these there was no one living in the apt below me. So no problems. ;) I'm actually really looking for a new filming location, haha. XD

  • i replied a second time to your dancing outside on the grass and so far it hasn't posted so just in case, i'm gonna write it again after this. i didn't wanna do the same thing twice but just wanted to let u know why just in case. =)

  • still didn't get your grass reply post. :)

  • haha. you're too cute. thanks. yeah i don't know why it hasn't posted?? but if This goes through, i wrote u a message direct to you on your Youtube page, plus a bit more since there's not a limit there like here. hehe =)

  • oh its fine you guys gave a GREAT demostaraton i am just soooo slow

    Thaks anyway!

  • lol Alright. XD

  • man i still dont get it

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol, what part don't you get? Maybe I can help you out.

  • theres about three-six different dances to almost every song....... that may be why someone might have learned it differently :)

  • exactly! :D

  • Hey, do you know the name of that dance where there's two lines on either side of the dance floor and at one point you turn sideways and cross across the floor while the other side does the same and switch sides??? I could never get that dance perfectly and would like to know the name so I can see if someone is teaching it. Oh yeah, I've never done it at Round-Up, only Dallas Bull. Do you go there?? I Love it! It's a blast!! Thanks for your help!

  • I've never been to the Dallas Bull actually, I'll have to go sometime. :)

I think the song you're asking about is called "Cripple Creek". I don't know who the singer is that preforms it though. XD But it's a fun dance! :D

  • this is similar how we do it in the black clubs..the cha cha slide, electric slide, truck stop..etc. Funny how these dances are cross-cultural. But you girls are good teachers.I like this song and it was fun to watch this.

  • You're pretty good teachers. And you have a cute sleepy beagle!

  • Thank you! :) Yeah he's cute when he's sleepy, but he's hilarious when he's hyper. I have a video dedicated to his hyperness, lol.

  • cute! xD

  • Woah woah woah lmao

I am an expert at this song and I am a major country chick lmao, but no there isn't this much steps haha and i did this dance for competitiosn lmao

  • Like I have said many times....This dance is different depending where you learn it. This is the verison I learned at the round-up in Olds Mar, FL. Where are you from?

  • Thanks so much for the refresher...I learned this years ago at the round up and had forgotten some of the steps. Going to the barn in Sanford soon so hopefully they do the same steps.

Can you post the dance they do to "Pour Some Sugar on Me"?

  • lol, your welcome. :)

I'm not sure if I know that dance. XD Who sings it?

  • Never mind my other comment, I remember it know. XD

Yeah I vaguely remember that one. I have to refresh, but when I figure it out again, I'll post it. :)

  • thats not how we do it at all

  • it's different depending on where you go. This is how it's done in olds Mar, FL.

  • I live in Fort Worth, TX, and that isn't nothing like what we do. To much moving and to many weird steps. I teach dance so it just goes to show every states does something different. Have fun doing whatever it is your doing.

  • Hmm...Fort Worth area - isn't that were Billy Bob's is?

  • Yes it is, but there are many more great places to dance at then just Billy Bob's. Love the concerts there.

  • Honest to God girls, this is great! Your video is easier to follow than the professional ones!!

  • Hi,

I am in the UK and work in a local school, I am teaching line dancing to the kids at lunchtime. Someone volunteered me!! I haven't got a clue what I am doing, but the kids love it! Your vids have helped a lot, I now have a couple more dances to teach the kids. Keep em coming!!

  • lol, that's great! :) I'm trying to get more, but my partner and I have been perpetually busy with school. XD I have 6 videos so far, so check those out, hopefully I'll have more later. :)

  • I've enjoyed watching your vids.... I frequent the RoundUp in Davie, Florida ( the other Roundup I believe is in Tampa )

Every single dance you guys do we do it completely different in South Florida!!

Interesting to see how other places do it though....

Great videos!! I have been having so much fun learing this stuff, its a friggin amazing workout... and every dance is different!!

  • Shit i live in texas..at least you can do it better than me but thats not how we do it in texas. at the begining you go heels out heels in heels out heels in then heel heel toe toe heel swivel swivel...but still alot better than me.

  • Love it. This is definitely the way I learned it at the Dallas Bull in Tampa, except they play the remixed version so it's pretty easy to tell when to jump. Good times...I should check out the Roundup sometime when I'm back home.

  • lol the dog has no idea of what's going on!

  • YAY! yup, i'm in tampa... that's definitely how we do it here! awesome, ya'll are funny teachers. had fun boot scootin in my living room to ya'll!! haha..

and yup, everywhere has their own style, which is fun :) was at a bar the other night in bradenton & copperhead road came on, i ran out then was like "OH CRAP! TOTALLY DIFFERENT!" chance to learn a new dance tho :) anyhow. thanks girls! keep 'em comin! :)

  • haha, thanks! :) It's always cool and interesting trying to learn a new dance on the dance floor.

Where in Bradenton is there a bar that does line dancing? (I'm from Bradenton, haha. XD)

  • what the hell

  • That isn't even the boot scoot! What the hell are ya'll doin? It's a pretty cool dance but I've been line dancing since I was 5 and I've never seen that.

  • Actually it is the boot scoot. It's different in different areas you go too. I know that there's a club in Orlando that does most the dances completly different from this way. So really, there is no correct way. It all matters where you are from, and what version you learn. If you go to Round-up in Olds Mar, FL this is how they dance it. (which is where I learned it.)

  • You make it look nice and easy. Good job. I will check and see what other line dances you have.

  • oi! i really wish i could see better!

that black chair was blocking my veiw

but yeah, thanks a bunch for the how to!

  • black chair?

  • yeah the one in thr front left hand side, it spins it looks like...lol..

  • Oh! that chair! hehe, yeah it spins. XD Tried to keep it out of the way. I have a really small apartment lol.

  • i diffently would like to learn more in depth, you too are very good.. if you could email me with some tips that would be great. just shoot me a message..

you both are really good.. you ever though about becoming a teacher, and having a DVD, you could make good money...

  • You both are awesome, I too wanted to know how to line dance, and didn't want to look like a fool out there! Thanks so much!!!!

  • haha, thanks, glad it helped you. :)

  • hehehe awesome! :D I want to learn how to line dance so badly, this is perfect! thanks so much for posting this :D

  • You're welcome, there are more videos teaching line dancing by me, just click my name for my channel. I'm working on putting up more. Glad that you liked it. :)
