Christ, what nitwits. I've found no problems with it being "shaky". Compared with all other cameras in the price range, it's actually very good at smoothing out imagery when zoomed in all the way on an image. I can't believe they rated this camera as "not bad", when it has all the fantastic resolution and image clarity features! They don't seem to even realize it's an HD camera. Jackasses...
crap review.... sorry guys but value for money its great, if not the best consumer cam out ! ( i have one ), but u should mention its has progressive scan, 3MP, headphone jack, 1080 HD, mini SD slot and too much else to type... check the spec pages guys this truly is a great cam.
I agree, not a useful review at all. They seemed to describe problems that actually imply their own lack of competence with camerawork, rather than problems with the camera.
However, I do agree with the light handling. But that can be worked around.
Forget school plays, this camera is good enough to shoot films. With the right lens of course. Its a shame its so small and light though, very shaky footage when handheld in CINE mode.
Oh yeah, and Sony Vegas is pretty ace for color correction and stuff. Just waiting for this baby to come down another £50 or something, i really need one now.

this is the best camera on the market today for the price.....
the picture quality is the best i've seen from a consumer camera
