Darkfall supports atm only single core. So assign fraps to the other core; it will help the performance while frapsing.

No, its a voicechat called "mumble" and its got an inbuild overlay.

The loot + skins is 7-14k gp, 2-4 ship mods, a bunch of pearls (up to 50 I think), 2 Niflfrost, a variety of enchanting catalysts, and a few other random bits.

Farm the kraken about 5 times and you will on average get about 15 ship-mods.

10 times is usually enough mods for another schooner or a Brig, and if you're lucky it will drop an Astrolabe as well.
