Yeah, I do a similar thing nearly every day I work the machine and have to cross a pretty deep gap nearly as wide as the machine. I get the bucket as full of heavy clay as I can, use it like in this vid to get the fronts of the tracks to the other side, then raise bucket at full extension to let the back of the machine lighten up enough to levitate the rest of the way.
