i've listened to over 30 versions of this song and i'd have to say this is my favorite version. Does anyone know what the hell he's saying? lol i tried typing it out as the song played and it sounds like he's speaking a dif language (but then again, this is usually the case with his older stuff). It sounded nothing like the original cd release w lyrics. Good find!

The Granny Demos are in circulation unlike Dagreenmantor says - Mother's Night, Recently, Warehouse, The Best of What's Around, I'll Back You Up..The Song That Jane's Like, Tripping Billies, Recently, Minarets, Ants Marching, Dancing Nancies, People People, Two Step, I'll Back You Up, and Redemption Song - recorded in Jan toward Feb 1991.

Actuallly there is a recording from July 1991 of You Won't See Me that was recorded live when the band was four piece...pre-Peter and pre-Boyd which is the first live recoding of the Dave Matthews Band. Peter and Boyd were not in the band until August 1991. Plus 1991-08-21 show pre-dates this video cause it from 1991-09-01 show.

May be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is not the earliest known recording. Warehouse was recorded as part of the Granny's demos which i believe is from 1990
