  • This case has a common grounding problem that could potentially ruin your Mobo. I urge people to research this cases feedback before purchasing

  • Will an AMD RADEON HD 7970 fit in this case?

  • @KpopEnglishVersion I think so. I ordered a pc with this case and the 7970 and it seems to fit good.

  • @OhDere obviously it does if you just build it :S

  • Excellent review-

I recently bought this case, and I love it!!

Although I do recommend replacing the stock fans if you want high airflow. I bought 2x200mm (Cooler Master Mega Flow) and 2x120mm (Cooler Master Sickle Flow) all red led and they work great. The two stock fans won't do much on their own.

  • In Lithuania this case costs 96$ , f**king bussines

  • This is one of the best reviews I have seen. Direct and understandable by the newest people introduced to pc building. Thanks for the review. I am going to buy one shortly.

  • I got the HAF 912 plus (inside is black and preinstalled 200mm fan at the front)

Going to get 140mm fan for side and for rear (noctua 140mm fits to 120mm)

  • @FireSqy wait overall how many fans are in this case also what fans should i buy

  • @TheAlbinoGoron Pre installed on normal is one 120mm at rear and one 120mm at front.

On plus version there is 120mm at rear and 200mm at front.

If normal, I would get another 120mm at front (prefer Noctua 140mm that fits 120mm) and noctua's 140mm at the side.

  • @FireSqy thanks but im planning to get the 922 due to it comes with more fans and it has much more room

  • @TheAlbinoGoron Well HAF 912 is budget case :/

  • So do I have to get all these fans also? Will have SLI GTX 460s and and i5 2500k.

  • I picked this up cuz it didn't look like a space ship lol A few fans as well.

  • just bought one of these!

  • Damn, I can't find this case anywhere here in Brazil :(

  • interally my ass

  • dont buying case without usb 3.0

  • does the Asus EAH6950 DCII/2DI4S/2GD5 fit in this case?

  • Will am 6970 fit in there

  • @Alomeli25 Sure.

  • @Alomeli25 yeah if its not that gigabyte 3 fan beast. ur good if otherwise

  • @Alomeli25 WIll my penis fit in there

  • @Alomeli25 yes

  • will an ha 6870 fit in here

  • @memeGUYFTW sure

  • @memeGUYFTW yes

  • This is what i am buying!

  • i can add ati 5970 in this case looks good!!

  • @FFF693 Yes

  • if only haf x usb 3.0 can be plugged in natively, i will have no doubt getting one!

  • @domeee11 If by "natively" you mean connects to the internal IO port, then newer lines do. I was concerned about this as well and along with it, purchased a converter. When i received it, to my surprise found CM changed the connection and its actually an Internal connector and comes with an adapter for External routing. So you should have nothing to fear :)

  • Are the built in case fans quiet when in use?

  • Could you fit two Geforce 570s in the case with SLI?

  • @flubagalub yes it has 7 expansion slots

  • Does this case allow installation of an aftermarket cpu heatsink without removing the MB?

  • @dxfan212 i think so. it has a very big hole underneath the cpu so i think it will work :D

  • Gonna get this case tomorrow! [:

  • I want to get this case but I would love it if I could buy it with a side window. I still may get it anyway.

  • @crudnup the advanced edition i bought today is $20 more, has a side panel.

  • Can someone please tell me if the 18.9 inches height already counts the stands and the upper part where the usb ports are, or if it's only the interior space height? I'm not sure if it will fit on my desk.

  • @doid3r4s Thats is from desk to top of the case. Just measured mine.

  • @longshot726 thank you so much.

  • @doid3r4s Dimensions (WxHxD): 9.1 x 18.9 x 19.5 (230 x 480 x 496 mm) the whole case

  • They sell it on their official website currently for $35. So if you like it. GET IT WHILE YOU CAN.

  • @bucuresteanu100 sugi cocsul din mina

  • Would this case be able to fit the Radeon 6950 with the removable hard drive cage still in the case, or would i have to remove the cage?

  • @coolboyx1 I'M askin the same thing man but with the 6970, i have a 3.5 sata though, isn't that the cage where the 3.5 sata's go?

  • Great case!!! I have the 912 plus and I love it.

  • how many usb ports does this case have? how many on the front of the case and are there any on the back?

  • @coolboyx1 2 front 0 back

  • @gamerpunk10 just two only? damn, that isnt that many :D is their any way to add more usb ports?

  • @coolboyx1 no cases have usb on the back. The back USB are from the motherboard

  • thanking of getting this

  • @EmoticonMayhem *thinking

  • Great review! Detailed and tells me what I want to know. Miles better than the vacuous drivel of so-called-reviews that flood youtube.

  • that case to take ... please answer?

1.COOLER MASTER Midi Tower Case HAF 912 Plus RC

    2. THERMALTAKE Armor A60 VM20001W2Z ....

  • Is the Hard drive bay tooless

  • @1SH0T2K1LLS not all of it only the top is

  • Has anyone had problems with the length of the 24 pin PSU cable reaching the mobo?

  • <3 this case

  • @Raikuaza ok kewl thanks for the reply!

  • 60 dollars??? In Australia is 120..geezzz...

  • Man this review is good it helped me sufficiently. Thanks

  • What about the PSU? you think that having it down low would make the heat rise and heat up the hardware?

  • @MissleMan13 Well, if you have a SHIT PSU with no outake fan, yes. And that's why the HAF it's called High Air Flow...

  • I wonder how it is with dustbuild up, sure it has dustfilter on the intakes, but it has a good amount of other entrances, unless you install more fans with dustfilters.

Does the stockfans provide with an overpressure in the case? Otherwise there's a good chance the dust will creep in anyway

  • What if I buy this case, but I will only have 20mm of space on the left of that case and 70mm of space above the case? I need a serious advice if it would choke up or not, cuz I really want to buy it.

  • the hard drive center section is brilliant.

  • just got this in the mail today!! trying to find out how to mount a ssd :P

  • was looking at the main site for this case and just have to say what Idiot would mount there 240 rad on the out side blowing the HOT air back in to the case lol.

  • O.o a mid tower that will fit a 10.5 inch card or larger. but you loose HDD space :(

only one 5.25 tooless bay? wtf

will it truly support a DOUBLE thick 240 rad?

vertical mounting for your extra usb ports?

    has no window :(

$59.99 not to bad, cheaper than most others that are priced at $80

IMO this is not good enough for a full tower replacement.

    needs all tooless 5.25 bays

    and side window

    is the ssd's mounting tooless?

  • @clamo636 "on a budget"

  • @naimsup I don't under stand?

  • motherboard

  • will this fit asus crosshair v formula

  • this fits a EATX?

  • Does anyone know if this case has HDD and power LED indicator light?

  • This or Storm Enforcer or Storm Scout? Can't decide :/

  • how many fans does the case actually come with? I see the black fan in the rear.. does it come with a front fanat the bottom?

  • @RideOrDie5V2B

It's got one in the front as well. It's hidden by the mesh on the front casing. It's lower than the back one as well giving a balance imo.

  • why is 60 dollars mean 60 EUROS outside the US -.-

  • @Phenom69ll / 70 dollars Canadian, even though our dollar is worth more than theirs now. Fucking americans

  • i got this case and i love it and the price but does the hyper 212 plus heatsink fit without a problem

  • got this on sale for 45$!

  • "I don't know why they only left one"

    I know why:

    MONEY

  • I have one and I love it. Its a little cramped with my 5770 crossfired setup hogging the PCI slots, but it is worth it

  • haf 912 or 690 ii basic?

  • @a4tech357 912.

  • I just bought this case, there is an edition which is also black painted inside. The cooling is just superb, the cable management too. It becomes very beautiful with a smart case modding (color led fans). The only negative point I wonder about these excellent coolermaster series is their roof exaust grill. You have to be careful not to drop your cup of coffee or orange juice or whatever inside through this grill.

  • would this case fit the cooler master V6GT?

  • Comment removed

  • Such a sexy case for the price.

  • i have this case its awesome! great cable management!

  • Can a Corsair Hydro H80 fit in this case in the rare if not a 200 mm is there on the top?

  • Would it fit the V8 heatsink? or should I get the V6

  • @iNekoNaru It fits very large CPU coolers. I have the Noctua NH-12 U and it fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room around it.

  • hey I have a question, I own the GPU Holder that comes with the CM 690 ii advanced, am I able to use it in that case too?

  • This case is beast.

  • Price in Poland USD 100 ( 300 PLN ) ...;-P .

  • what does the case cost?

  • @Pajjazh about 60 bucks usd...

  • I have a question, i wanna buy one of these and i don't really know if it can fit the Corsair Hydro H50, please someone answer i wanna buy the H50 but only beeing sure i can fit it on this case.

  • Quick question, I know that this can fit in graphics cards no problem but will it have enough room for a Corsair HX1000 power supply or would I have to remove the 2inch drive?

  • THIS IS THE BEST F***KIN CASE I HAVE EVER USED. BATTLEFIELD 3 ANYONE!?

  • @GreatSkillsBF so this is a good buy????? I have a case but its shit hahaha

  • my haf 912 cant open games??because of the graphic card??? i have a ati driver installation version 9.8A. PLEASE HELP!

  • @TheFunnyMonkeyLOL ...............whaaaaaaat? Your computer case can't load games? Whaaaaaat? That doesn't even make sense.

And reinstall drivers.. You aren't giving a whole lot of information for people to help you, especially when you claim your CASE can't open the game. Sheesh.

  • @TheFunnyMonkeyLOL HAHAHAHAHHAH!

  • can any one help will this fit a liquid cooling 240 rad internally?

  • Damn it! I can't wait until the end of June when I will sell my CM Elite 430 and buy this beautiful girl :D... CoolerMaster rocks!

  • Exelente WDF es lo mejor!!!....

  • okay is this guy chillafrilla or what?

  • what width of 20mm fan will fit in the front for intake? 120x25 or could i fit a 120x38 Ultra Kaze?

  • Comment removed

  • does even the ASUS EAH6950 DCII in crossfire fit in here? these 2 cars take together up to 6 slots.

  • can i put a corsair h50 cpu cooler in there?

  • Will a h60 or h70 fit in this case?

  • I've just bought the HAF 912 Plus and I had a few questions. Can I remove the tool less adapters? I don't feel they hold your HDD very well and I would rather screw them in than use plastic adapters.

  • 2011 budget gaming pc

  • Would that fit a 240mm rad in the top and a 120mm rad in the back? Looks like they could touch in the corner.

  • will 6850 fit in?

  • @Chaosking1987 of course it will as this case will fit any gpu without the top hdd rack

  • Uhm, with all the fans u have to add or reolace, the storm enforcer is better

  • Just bought a 6990 vid answered my question :P

  • What card is that in the case in this video?

I really want to put a 5870 in mine but according to the dimensions it shouldn't technically fit...

  • phew, i'm glad, i was going to ask if it will fit my voodoo5 card. But i guess it can.

    thanks

    tweakers.net/ext/i.dsp/968159803.jpg

  • can a H60 fit in this case?

  • @drawanime yep

  • Can this case fit a footlong hotdog?

  • ...say hello to my new case. *opens tab to go to newegg* lol

  • **reverse

  • is the holes where the psu sit is for air flow? should i reserve my psu so the 120 mm fan blow the air under the case ? help me im noob :[

  • STOP ASKING if it will fit XXXX graphics card. it supports up to 10.5 inches with the top HDD cage in, and over 13inches with it removed. it will fit ALL graphics cards. yes, even a 6990 and a gtx 590. yes a 4870x2, gtx295, 5970, even a 3870x2. It will even fit those stupidly long single slot gtx570s from sparkle.

  • @thebeetalls :0, a single slot 570?! I'm gonna have to buy one of those.... just to buy one lol. I miss single slot cards. it's a pain in the ass trying to decide what you could do without.

  • @thebeetalls Srry to ask, But does it 2 560ti's as well?

  • @thebeetalls Yeah, i've only been very impressed with the case recently after having it for 3 months now and almost finally finishing up my build with new cpu cooler and top 200mm CM megaflow (in red) which looks amazing and cools unbelievably well...

By the way, do you know if another one of those can fit in the front replacing the stock 120mm? because it seems there's the space...

  • @thebeetalls Sorry, disregard my question, I hadn't watched the whole video yet, was waiting for it to load a little...

  • @thebeetalls So do you think it would fit a Gtx 210?

  • ordered mine today :)

  • can this case fit a 6950 2gb video card?

  • @619rey9 yes, or so ive heard :)

  • it costs $120 in australia, which is lame since our money is as good as US

  • @utubeb14 USA USA USA...LOL

  • can someone tell me if you can put long graphic cards inside? i have a enermax chakra and I could not mount the 4870x2 with the accelero extreme because it was too long. I can of course mount the 4870x2 with the normal stock fan...but any longer card, or any longer cooling system would not fit in my case that's why i would like a longer one.

  • @rogermorsee if you remove the top hd bay you can put any card in it

  • This case + $15 pack of 4 fans from CM = great bang/buck. I personally don't see how any case can compete with this. 2nd runner up being the antec 300.

  • @HardwareCanucks will this fit the newer HD 6950?

  • I can't describe how phenominal this review was! Cheers!

  • This is an absolutely perfect review!

  • this is actually an awesome case i seen the antec 300 to me it was kinda blah.

The case is easily paintable, I mean a can of krylon is 3.49 if you can't paint the inside of a case your pretty sad for spending an extra 20 bucks for stuff you can get for 10.

  • i want it, the case i want when i build my system

  • @60829 I will got this one on friday maybe

  • @Asken96

I suggest to look at Fractal Design R3. These coolermaster cases looks so childish..

  • @zilkoify the haf series does but you can't deny the price.

  • omfg ty so much for this i was thinking aboute getting this cause i thought the coolermaster v6 gt cpu cooler would fit but now i know. again ty so much and great work.

  • @jinchurikione but the v6 does fit???

  • @ZeroInhibition yes you just may have clearance issues with the top fan

  • Great review, I'll go ahead and sub to you. I wasn't a big fan of the look of this case (A little bit to 'XTREME GAMERZ!' for my liking) however, I got one anyways because of the value you find inside. Perfect case, and while the more costly Corsair stuff is better, for this price its hard to go wrong.

  • all in , all though the few minor things, this case is the best I have ever owned, and now the roomate wants to buy one as well. cable management in this case gets 10/10, appearance is 9/10 for me, better looking than the Haf X by far but could use some matt black on the inside,

also watch out for the risers included in the screw packet, and check the threading before you screw into em, they may be finer threaded than the ones you are used to

  • @ skidrow _ yes sir, but in my opinion using four120mm fans is a waste of time and noisy at that, the best is a 200mm in front intake and a 200m top exhaust, much much quieter this way , pushes more air and makes a noticeble air tunnle effect.

which brings me to MY most annoyed part of this case, when you are using 120mm fans you lose the air pressure magic this case is capable of because you have huge gaps to each side of your fans, the top ends up sucking back in air as it exhausts it.

  • @ toys are for boys - its unfortunate they didnt include the filter here, but I am lucky to own a psu that exhaust out the back, so what I did was to take the filter from the bottom , seating the psu back on top of black foam filter adhesive strip. turns out the bottom filter works just fine on teh side.

  • And you don't really have to lose the cage, you can mount it at 90 degrees.

  • @skidrowdie He did say that.

  • Are you kidding me? You can install 2 x 120 in the front.

  • PRESS 6 TO POUND

  • Couple of errors in the video review. The side fan is an EXHAUST fan, not intake (hence no dust filter). And the three rubber grommets on the rear of the case, two are for tubing, one is for cables. Also, the 2.5" drive rack can be MOVED to the top of the fixed 3.5" lower rack, EVEN WITH the 3.5" removable rack still in place!! Great for running striped SSD's with a 1200 watt supply! The threaded holes on the top of the 2.5" rack are for a water pump. Other then that, great review =)

  • WHAT 59.99????? WHY THE HELL ITS 70 EURO`S AT OUR COUNTRY??? THATS 90 DOLLARS!
