One of my friends is having exactly that problem with the private shared vids.. I haven't, although I access them from my email notification come to think of it. I may not have tried from the YT inbox.. I'll go check. I'm still getting some glitches but nothing bad.

Now everyone can add a box and not just partners. This means if someone clicks subscribe on their channel it will bring up a list of friends to sub to as well. The boxes are already clicked so one would need to unclick all of them (very slow), or sub from outside the channel to just sub to that channel. This new system means everyone is going to get more subs, its good and bad i think. it promotes working together, but it means more people sub who may not watch. Exposure is very useful though.

As soon as they sub, they get the question if they want to sub the recommended channels too. Thát goes fast that way !

About the subs...yes, and I was thinking the same as you!

About the PM's...haven't tried this since the change, so I don't know about that, but videos that others send to me seem to be working all right.

About the favorite channels...I noticed this, too, and found out that you can add this on your own page under 'settings' , if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah I had a few new subs - strange ones (I mean ones that I wouldn't think would be interested in me vlogging). I'm not sure what it is but I'm with hallbe, I think it's to get subs back, could be a bot. Strange things are happening around here. lol

I've noticed that after a certain number of subscribers gets hit--it seems that the number just starts climbing--Possibly because of the greater exposure--not sure..

Yep...we've all noticed it! It's been the topic of a few conversations on facebook. I've been getting odd ball subs for a couple months now. But really heave the last few days! Some say it's a new sub bot that people use to sub a wide variety of channels in hopes that they will get subbed back. I don't know...it all seem contrived. Whatever sparkle YT had is fading fast for me...

Well my channel has jumped quite a bit in the last month or so. I can't say I've had any problems with the private sharing thing, though. But then again, I haven't messed with it in a while.
