  • Thank you for sharing your passion with us. I'm a Toyota fan and a 1994 4runner owner. I just love the way you drive your runner. Beautiful runner, by the way. Congratulations and keep sharing, I'll keep following you..

  • What´s the model of the rims in the 1st runner?

  • @auladepiano MB Motoring Blitz

    Thanks for watching!

  • Got an older Taco with the ARB front and a home built version on the rear with an after market rear/front electric locker. Bought the new 4Runner trail and going at it the same way. Check out some of the video on my youtube channel: AdventureToyota

  • REAL offroad trucks do not have leafsprings!!!

  • @hjaltigto What makes you say that? What is the deffiniton of a "REAL offroad truck"? first of all these arent even trucks, there suv's, and last i checked there was also no deffinition of a "REAL offroad truck" in the dictionary either, that states no real offroad trucks dont have leaf springs.

  • i have a 4runner now athat looks alot like the dark black or silver one. is the front axel an aftermarket thing? my rig has intedendent front suspention

  • @2005yamahayz125 The black one and the silver one are two very different 4runners. The black one is a 1985 and has a solid front axle stock. The silver ones (there are two) both have independent front suspension stock.

  • @sn0wrunner what does solid axle mean? does it mean the two front tires both spin at the same time even if one is in the air? thanks

  • @skateshortys8 No, that would be a locking differential. A solid axle is what the black '85 has. The front axle is just like the rear axle, where as the other 4runners have IFS, those use CV axles.

  • @sn0wrunner also what size engine do they have and is it stock, sorry for the stupid questions

  • @skateshortys8 Stock engine for the '96-'02 4runners is a 3.4L V6. Some had a 4 cylinder.

  • @sn0wrunner 22 RE!!! :D

  • I'm a 3rd gen owner, but i LOVE the 1st gen in this video...

  • What tyres are you running on the back beast and rims they look pretty sick :)

  • That is one sharp looking 4Runner!

What tire carrier and roof rack is that on the silver runner?

  • @vintsch the roof rack is a thule expedition. The tire carrier is custom made.

Hey im getting a toyota 4runner a 98 model what mods do you suggest for off roading like this and the only one that are for sale here are autotrans would that mean i would still need to change my gear ratio?

  • @wowzinger I would suggest looking at toytec lifts. Stubbs sliders, and bud built skids for starters. No need for new gears, unless you are planning on running 35's. The stock gearing will be fine for 33's.

  • @sn0wrunner ok thanks i just thought bigger wheels ment i need new gear set up but ya 33s will be fine thanks for the tip

  • bad ass runners!!!!!

  • That silver four runner is awesome!!!! :D i like everything about it these are so tight!!! I have a 1991 where did you get that front bumper and skid plate at? if you could give me the website thatd be awesome!!! :D Thanks!! and sick video!!! alo wat kind of shocks you got on that silver one? or either of them actually haha thanks again!

  • @MBCamaro95 Thanks! There are actually 2 silver 4runners. the 2001 has an armorology front bumper, and the 1996 has a TJM. Armorology is a custom shop located in Colorado springs, but they do have a website you can check out. its just armorology.c o m. hope that helps, thanks for the comment!

  • is this 4Runner manual or automatic transmission?

  • @Dakamum which one?

  • @sn0wrunner THE GREY ONE.

  • those yokohama m/t tires on the silver truck are the shit

  • Sn0wrunner -

Is ur 4 runner stock or is it modded at all?? I was wondering because I am in CO and looking for some good trails to get into, I have a 2002 Chevy Avalanche that I want to lift and do some wheelin but the lift wont be here till spring - I want to take it out on some trails but other then the motor work its all stock susp.

    Thanks again -

    Tony

  • @jtto1881

I replied to you on your channel page. Thanks!

  • I'm going from a 94 Toyota Camry to a 96 Toyota 4 Runner, are there any problems I should look out for with this truck or am I in pretty good hands, I was going to get a Cherokee but felt like they needed to much maintenance to keep them up?

  • @roaming1978 How many miles does it have? Timing belt should be replaced around 100K, but if you are like me you are way past that. My 96 has 245K now, still going strong. I'd say when you get to around 175-200" you should probly replace the upper and lower ball joints. Mine went out when i was at 220K. Luckily i was only going about 5 mph.

  • @sn0wrunner it has 156k, so I'm thinking that's the next thing I should do! Thanks for replying.

  • @roaming1978 no problem. Thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment!

  • Hey what kinda rims are those?

  • I'm sorry, which vehicle?

  • @sn0wrunner The silver 4runner lol

  • Well the silver 2001 SR5 and the black 1985 4runner both have MB Motoring Blitz 16X8 6-139.7 Rims in Machined with -6mm offset

The silver 96 limited (black wheels) are made by unique wheel inc.

You can buy either one at discount tire co.

  • t4r.org?

  • what about it? lol

  • Dude! sick rig! but who built the rear bumper? you can't open the tailgate

  • My rear bumper (Silver Limited) was made by Sonoran Steel.

My friend is building his own bumper on the Silver SR5, it is not completed yet, but the tail gate does open... it has a swing out tire carrier.

  • love your vids, keep up the good work bro! i got a question for ya ... do you remove the sway bars for going out on trails?

  • Thanks for the comments man. I run with my front sway bar disconnected on and off road. The rear is always connected.

  • nice vid i love that silver runner!!

  • Thanks! Which silver runner? or both? hahaha

  • @sn0wrunner Well i thought one was silver and the other one is more white... but yeah love the 4 Runners. I wish i had the money to set up my 97 like the silver one. Does anyone know the tire wheel combination on that 4runner right at the beginning? the silver one!

  • @sn0wrunner OOH yeah and how high is the lift?

  • Tires - Yokohama Geolandar MT+ 305/70R16 (33" x 12")

Rims - MB Motoring Blitz 16X8 6-139.7 Rims in Machined with -6mm offset

3.5" suspension lift, 1.5" Body lift. Total 5"

  • Nice runners, I have a 97 4runner out here in Phoenix AZ. Looking at moving out to Colorado in a few years for the cooler weather and looks like the off roading is challenging like it is out here.

  • be sure to give me a shout when you get out here and we can do some wheeling!
