Insane idea to build a rocket stove on a plastic box :-) The way you built it it doesn't differ much from an open fire as there will be to much air on top of the fire cooling the fire down and ... tada, making it smoke like hell. Not to forget that these kind of bricks tend to crack when they get hot. Better not to try it that way...
