  • what kind of tractor.answer the no good kind

  • That can't be good for the starter.

  • Poor battery...

  • thank god you dont have to crank start it!

  • Zo zeg, die had er wel even moeite mee, eerst even gloeien he :P En dat bulderende geluid wat die guldners maken, Echt TE GEK! Vooral bij het starten

  • ur just jumping the starter

  • my starter on mine is shot so i just push it and hop on and slam it in 2 and let off the clutch and it starts right up

  • bet your nabors love you

  • Zo gaat je starmotor lang mee... not :)

  • "amatuer engineer" poor show !!!

  • wtf?

  • thats the starting solenoid.

  • 2:39 to see the thing start lol

  • so basicall u bypassed the started solenoid

  • OMG I thought it would never start!

  • Poor starter's takin' a beatng!

  • you know that thing's not going to shock you.

  • lol i do this all the time only prob is you where the sides of the nuts off and the if you go to replace you cant get it off XD without visegrips blood sweat and tears ;D so just a note ^_^

  • whats the matter with this, i've done a couple of times with a pocket knive when i cant find the key

  • his age has everything to do with it. brains don't stop developin until we are technically 24 or 25. he's still runnin his knowledge obviously on teenager bullshit.

  • good way to fuck your starter and next time dont flood it

  • @yk500 its a diesel. u cant flood it.

  • Please use the heater in the air intake (behind the air filter).. It will start so much easier and you will enjoy so much longer of the starter and battery.

  • @johnkemper75 that has a glowplug. not an air heater

  • What a Bogan!

  • Good Lord. Something is seriously farked with that motor. How many starters / year you go through?

  • bigWOW u grounded out the starter feel special?

  • Grounded out the starter?

  • jeeze have a little mercy on the starter

  • toadabc - - diesels don't have chokes. This thing either needs a little heat first, or some starting fluid.

  • Some say its bad but a $2 can of starting fluid is in call for that cold blooded bitch.

  • if you are going to cross the solinoid be careful, make sure the transmission is in neutral and the brake is set or the wheels are chocked.

we had a large john deer start up in gear nearly running over on guy and slam across the shop crushing our battery charger and hitting annother tractor before stopping.

  • i had to do that to my car the other day

  • i have to do that to my tractor

  • i pull my ford and it stared

  • Wat is het een Güldner G30 ?

  • nee guldner spessart zelfde als een g 15 maar ander kapje

  • the starter switch on my 48 ford 8n went out so i'd turn on the key an use heavy gauge wire to jump the solinoid starts every time too

  • ya just to comment bellow no glow plugs are not neccasery becuase thats not what produces the ignigtion like a sparl plug

  • get an ther can for crhistmas...

  • id hate to say it but man that thing starts like crap! whats wrong with it? why did it have to crank so damn long?

  • i don't have a glow plug on it

and what i now know is that 1 piston was very bad so in 1 cylinder i had almost no compression.

  • correct me if im wrong but don't diesels need glow plugs to start? wouldn't it be the equivalent of trying to start a car with no spark? or was just the one piston absent of a glow plug? also without glow plugs it would be impossible to have compression.

  • no diesels are able to start without glow plugs diesels don't use plugs like a petrol car

the glow plug is to get some heat in the engine to start it quicker but when u start it without glow plugs the pistons wil generate some presure in the cylinders so the temperature will rise so that the engine eventually will start it just takes a liltle bit longer

  • @lanzbulldogfreak Aye, BUT you have one HEALTHY starter though

  • @lanzbulldogfreak nice tractor

  • He's holding the plastic handle like it's going to electrocute him LOL Its DC

  • lol its a wooden handle;)

and i'm wearing wooden shoes.. yup i'm dutch so i'm not afraid of electrocution from my tractor;)

  • lol I'm glad and meant no disrespect but you might be amazed at the people I've encountered who are afraid of just that. side note: I've cranked a many of older model fords that way when they had the solenoid under the hood. Tractor on partner

  • needs the engine or throttle looking at aint getting enough diesel from start up

  • Haha

We had to do that on our 70 something Bolens.

But we used a really long flat head screwdriver

    lol

  • good way to kill the starter

  • just curious how that is going to kill a starter

  • is it a FAHR ? :D it is very beautyful. I saw that the paint on your hood is a little bit shaved, but it looks good :D one of my friends have a FAHR and it runs well , it has good power :D

  • You cowboy!

Theres something wrong with that to crank for so long.

I'd suggest there is an air leak on the fuel system that allows the fuel to drain back to the fueltank when stood - hence the excessive cranking.

  • it is a ideal way to burn up a starter

  • Porsche -Diesel?

  • guldner spessart

  • should just fix the starting button and not mark up your nice clamp

  • Hey! Thats how my father would start the old straight six stude engine that we ran our 1851 thickness planer with - spent all winter under a snowbank - started faster than this tractor - go figure.

  • poor tractor, giving gas while starting can be helpful and will save the engine!

  • Save the engine how? It won't, you just rev it while it has no oil pressure. Ever wonder why your vehicles are always broken? Ever think it might be because your dumber than a box of rocks? Second of all, when starting any diesel, you don't touch the throttle during starting. It wouldn't do any good. with diesels, they either run, or they don't, and if it don't, keep cranking, it'll go eventually.

  • On one friend's Ford 4000, the only way to get it to start was to set the throttle up a couple of notches. And this thing was fully rebuilt!

  • You are a dumbass.

  • Love the long cranking !!! Keep on cranking that long . More long cranks like that on Youtube please

  • ok now my opinion changes after i saw what that poor starter went through. Was it purposely run for that insane length of time in an attempt to burn it out? runs like a deere with a leg or two missing. tune up...I concur.

  • yeah we used a screw driver to start our 1972 inline 6 250cid(i think) chev engine in the boat one time it had sat for a bit...altho we didnt crank it nearly this long. starter had seized a bit from sitting over the summer.

  • it is a smart idea

  • gas might help

  • Might I suggest a tune-up?

  • or maybe a new starter button!

  • that could kill you or caught the tractor on fire or ruin the starter

  • WHAT amazing starter abuse..... sad.

  • Nothin like a Deere! PUTT PUTT!

  • hahaha i do the same thing with my tiny lawn tractor lol

  • der arme anlasser.das geht auch anders !!!!!

  • just a remote start. old trick

I feel sorry for all the starters you've burnt out

  • bad glow plugs? if it has them... lol why not use a little ether in it ... it would start right up then... and maybe wire up a switch of some sort to cross the solenoid instead of what ever it was you just used....

  • scrap prices are about £140.0 per ton. sell it quick !!!

  • dude all that your doing is jumping it through the starter, same thing the ignition switch does when you crank it

  • Ooit geprobeerd voor te gloeien?

    Ever tried glowing before starting?

  • ...the worst start what I have ever seen, Zetor 25 A constructed in 1954 has better start :D

...I don't know, if it would start 10 degrees under zero

  • aways good to haer a engine start after trying 4 so long

  • Your gona burn up your startor cranking it like that

  • no he wont, a tractor is built to start like that

  • Not for that long. No starter's windings~ save for a marine or locomotive diesel are made to crank for that long.

I get to replace abused starters all the time. Winters up here arn't kind to diesels.

  • wat meer reacties mag ook wel op mien filmpie

  • winda and winds like mad
