its probably the way your holding the stick, and dont use turbo, its worthless. You just need to practice, find a comfy position to rest your hand and google some ways to hold the stick and try some out.

HA...! freakin' 30 seconds to remove the feet...! you gotta be kidding me...! i play with it on my lap so i chose to remove the feet because it is uncomfortable with the feet on. Madcatz used RED LOCTITE! and if you can get the screws removed, the nut on the other side will fall off. so you'll have to open it up to get those nuts out. opening the joystick, it is apparent that Madcatz don't want users to be playing around in there. every screw i saw was smothered in RED LOCTITE!

Its not overpriced it uses Sanwa joystick and buttons not Madcatz so you get a totally diferent quality from Madcatz now that they are working with Capcom and using Sanwa arcade parts. Sanwa are very expensive components that are used in the Arcade cabinets and the SF 4 arcade machine. If you build your own arcade stick using Sanwa parts you will end up paying loads and most will screw it up.

joystick is crap, restrictor panel is the worst i've seen ever. overall Madkatz - another disappointment.

My suggestion if you already bought this stick then either sell it on ebay - make some profit of it and buy yourself Hori EX2, or order a full set of Sanwa buttons and JFL joystick to replace - that's the only thing good about Madkatz stick - it's fully customizable..

I hate to poo-poo on this video, but "quality parts", "responsive controls"?!?! That MAY be true about the $149.99 stick, but NOT the $69.99 / $79.99 sticks. I've purchased 2 Xbox 360 ($79.99) sticks and BOTH of them don't function properly. guys, it is so much cheaper to buy a SE stick and just mod it yourself. Putting sanwa buttons and stick in is a breeze. It's basically take off quick disconnects, pop off buttons, put in new buttons, put on quick disconnects. the stick is just as easy.

There are several answers to that. the first one is the first 2 buttons are white and as you can see at 1:17 thats the japanese style button layout(the first 2 buttons are lower than the rest); and at 1:20 thats american style button layout. Different people like different styles an he's giving us a choice as of which we can use. The second reason for 8 buttons is that SF4's focus attack requires us to hit mp+mk; so we can set mp+mk to 1 button and avoid hitting 2 buttons at the same time :)

When I heard it was made my Madkatz.... I had pretty low expectations, but seeing it and the parts used, it rekindled the fire. Sanwa parts ftw!!!! I might get me one of these just to have one.

To be an idiot, I think they should have went with Hori anyway, he even says that they are doing best in the business, but it was their choice and outcome doesn't look too bad, maybe even better than some other Hori sticks. Good stuff Madkatz.... for once.

He commented briefly on the SE Fightstick being easily moddable, which is completely true, from what i've read. U can easily pop in Sanwa buttons (cause they're attached by quick-disconnects) and a Sanwa joystick to replicate the TE Fightstick while saving about 20-30 bucks. U just won't have the build quality of the TE stick...still, for a 150 bucks, that TE stick is good value.

Both the 360 and ps3 versions of either normal or TE sticks are PC-compatible.

The real difference between the TE and normal is TE has full sanwa (high quality jap-arcade parts), and the button layout is exactly like it is in the arcades. But at TWICE the price, I won't be buying it. (especially since you can buy 8 sanwa buttons for $40+/- and put them in yourself)
