I understand why Tails doesn't go super, because he needs the Super Emeralds for that, but still, this game would have been much more memorable if they had a Super Sonic, Super Tails, and Super Knuckles combo!
It's really weird, I can't unlock this. I've defeated Eggman with all teams and I've got the seven chaos emeralds. After the credits it says "Defeat Final Evil" then it returns to the team select and no newlevels are added.
I'm still pissed about it. I can kinda understand not having Super Tails because he basically looks the same, but there' no excuse for not having Super Knuckles at least.
The thing is, it doesn't even make sense why they don't. Sonic turns Super, and uses his energy to envelope Tails and Knuckles into a barrier of Chaos energy. It's stupid because you can't even make the argument that they couldn't turn Super while Sonic was using the Emeralds because Shadow did it with him in SA2 and both Shadow AND Silver do it in '06. Two methods are even used (Simultaneous transformation in SA2 and Sonic sharing the power with the others in '06) so there really was no excuse.
The only 2 reasons for the no super tails or knuckles may be 1 Sonic Team was lazy, or 2 Sonic hogged the color change for himself cause he was afraid their color would be awesomer than his.
Who'd've thought Sonic & Metal Sonic are both voiced by Ryan Drummond?

I was so irritated when Tails and Knuckles had a barrier instead of SUPER POWERS.
Of course, I think that Tails and Knuckles only transform with the super emeralds...I may be wrong though.

I had read an FAQ about "Super Knuckles" and "Super Tails" and thought they were coming back from 3+K. Oh, how wrong I was.
I'll whine about it more in the actual playthrough.
