I actually thought Wheatley was going to be a human character.

Now that I think about it, it would have interesting if Wheatley was an android. He looks human, but he's still a robot. The reason he's such a dunce is because he suffered damage during testing.

I'm not sure if that would be an improvement to the game's story, but I think it's an interesting idea. Also consider how a partner of sorts could affect the story mode of the game.
