I hate to sound like a dick by asking this, but what's the point of these reviews if most experienced riders are going to change half of the bike's parts before it hits a track?
@derekjlight you are ignorant fuck. You think all people are rich like you and can afford to do that? Most ppl that watch this vid are ppl that are not rich and want to buy it and leave it stock you fuck tard.
I'm ignorant? No, it's called having common sense. Seriously, if you can afford $7,000 for a new 450, you can probably afford to put a bit more into it if you are experienced. If you are a novice or have never been on a track, why not get a used bike and save a lot of money?
@derekjlight if thats the case why would you watch this video? Just go buy the bike and tell your rich parents to pimp it for you and let me watch my bike reveiw video in peace...cuz i AM and many other ppl are leaving it stock.
@derekjlight that's why you hear experienced riders say, just pick a color! pick your favorite brand! pick the fuel injection! pick the cheaper one! pick the reliable one (honda anyone?). they are all the same, unless your just riding for fun
@derekjlight because actually the majority of people that buy these bikes are average joe's and dont change much. most guy just have their suspension modified and change small things like handlebars. these reviews are just to give you an idea of the bikes package as a whole.
@derekjlight but remember 3/4 of the people buying a new 450f this year are not experianced racers. maybe 1/2 of them are racers but need the best stock package cuz they can only afford a brand new bike. then the other 1/4 are just due for a new stock bike that has to last 6 or so years.
@derekjlight only amatuer and pro racers do that, theres still another half of the mx population that just want a good production bike to ride on the weekends
what class would i race in if it was my first race on my 450?

Unless your riding pro circuit, the stock bike is fine especially if the rider is skilled enough to get the most out of it consistently.
