Hi,that was great, one more question, I got my western digital my book yesterday, it's backing up as i type, when thats finished and I go into time machine, will it let me go back in time or will it just start from today? Therefore lets say I go into time machine next Tuesday, it will show my back to today!!! Would that be correct? Thanks again.
@decbailey If this is your first back up then thats the only one on record for Time Machine to view, so yes your timeline will start from today.
Now the other part, if you didn't back up for a few days then you would only have your last back up on record. So i highly recommend after doing anything important clicking on the Time Machine logo in the top bar and click "Back Up Now". As the back up schedule may not include a time before you turn off the computer. Hope this helps.
How do i add more GBs to my time mechine that i already have bc i only put 5 gbs when i was supposed to use 50gbs
