Even though the fan is enormous, It's having a bit of trouble cooling my CPU, 40 C idle (Decent at 3.8 ghz I guess)

and 83C at max load when runnin Prime 95, but no other program pushes it that far, in normal use the highest I get is about 60 C.

I'm gonna try re applying the thermal paste with a totally fresh coat, and probably I'll just buy a corsair H50, it's a really nice liquid cooling kit, and use that instead.

Isn't it like 200 bucks for the 2.66 ghz-3.2 ghz increase? If you actually paid for that, I feel bad for you, 2.66 ghz to 3.2 ghz is a puny increase, and will benefit you hardly at all except in very specific situations. Besides, I got mine to 3.8 ghz for free XD

I've finally got myself a GPU and CPU worth overclocking. GTX 260 and i7 920, thing is I figure out the OCing, never done it. I've tried using RivaTuner but the setting go right back to default when I change them. Are you guys using a program or doing by some other means?

TO overclock yours, I'd recommend EVGA Precision, it' really easy to use, and it has a handy test feature which stress tests the GPU at a new setting and sees if your OC is safe or not. I got my GTX 295's Core Clock from 576 MHz to 680 MHz

Shader Clock from 1242 MHz to 1466 MHz

and Memory Clock from 999 MHz to 1150 MHz (1998 with DDR to 2300 with DDR)
