or even open a valve on the inlet, like a blowoff valve just for a second to get turbo spinning fast without resistance?

@tpvalley Wont use nos. Any "drugs" such as nitrous, propane and usually water methanol are not allowed in diesel truck pulls.

the 1st gen. has the rotory pump on it but i would think this guy would have changed the houseing to put a bosch pump on it...cause its gettin the fuel to it..lol

no i said...the year of the trucks a 92 i think in which the cummins motor of that year had a rotory pump on them...so in order for him to make that hp he would have to take the rotory pump and get it tuned or change the housein to put a pump off a 94 to 97 cummins cause they changed the pumps

Don't forget 98 for the P-pump too. A "Dodgedude" should know that.

98 is a 24 valve cummins...were talkin about this 1st gen. in which stock had a rotory pump on it and i said that for this truck to preform the ways it does the rotory pump wont feed the engine the fuel it needs

Forget pumps right now, what I am telling you is that a Dodge dude should know that for the 1998 model year the Cummins was STILL A 12 VALVE!  It was not until the 1998.5 model year that the Cummins was a 24 valve.....

i knew it was one of those years..but me like a i got a 2006 cummins...but if i could i would drive my 96 cummins...but its my pull truck lol... the 12V cummins with the bosch pumps like 94 to 98 are the good ones to go for cheap to make hp out of too...well the 24V just chip but the 2nd gen. i'd do up for competitions

@dodgedude101 In 03 they went to common rail and it was rated at 305 hp. In 04.5 the common rail was rated at 325hp.

the second half of 98 was the 24 valve the first half was the end of the 12 "the holly grail of diesels" im a duramax guy and i even know that man..

you dont have to be smart to know the years of changes the big 3 made....duramax never came in till 2001 where chev had the 6.2 from i think 82 then the 6.5turbo in 92 i'm not to sure...i got a 93 1 ton GMC 6.5L turbo diesel
