I think I remember getting a bad ending where Nanako still lived. Didn't throw Namatame into the TV, calmed Yosuke down, but said something that didn't lead to them thinking Namatame wasn't the killer.
And I just sat there in disbelief as the days zoomed past.
@stickting Yeah, you got the normal ending. You have to say everything right; just choose the options that suggest more information needs to be known, and then say "Calm the hell down!"
This song gives off that "it's the end of the game, but it doesn't feel like you've done anything meaningful, have you?" vibe, and it sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it.
Don't know about anybody else but I've just started Yomotsu Hiraska today and I've gotta admit. Everything that lead up to it was just too brilliant. This song creeps the hell out of me though.
Why do you people say this theme is sad *reference to all the Bad Ending-comments*? I think it's relaxing. It's kepping me cool. Calm and collected up to the battle with Izanami. If there'd been something like Castle playing in Yomutsu Hirasaka, I would've panicked like I always have when Fuuka said "Be careful! I sense Death!"
To be honest, this music is the reason why I was able to complete the game.
Damn, this ending is so sad and I did 3 times, lucky me I never saved the game after, so I finished the game in the good ending (too bad I never noticed there was a battle after Ameno Sagiri and I saved after the credits, so right now I'm the middle of the game again, and maybe this time I get it right :P).
But he saved the entire world, plus Nanako, this music don't fit in such a happy ending. And he can always go back to visit them, unlike the "other" dude. :P
I might've felt sad after failing the Namatame thing, but this music relaxed me...even though I was googling "Exact steps to save Namatame" and not focusing on the music.
@drstikit I ACCIDENTALLY threw him in. This wouldn't have happened if Yosuke hadn't started playing "20 Questions" with me, with his murderous intentions... that jerk. :(
@chaffXgrenade Hahaha I love how you have to be unsure and vague, which prompts Yosuke to get confused and ask what the hell isn't right, then you have to tell him to CALM THE HELL DOWN.
Honestly I love the Calm Down speech option the MC has.
@decalcifies you get the bad ending if you 1. put Namatame into the TV OR Guess that somewone else then Adachi is the killer. the "even worse" ending is if you do that both
MC: So, I'm about to leave you all forever... don't you have anything to say to me, guys?
Everyone else: Well, let's see... under your leadership we didn't catch the real killer, our town's still covered in noxious fog, Nanako's is dead/in a coma, and you still don't even freakin' talk! So... no. Get on the train. GET ON THE GODDAMN TRAIN!
I had gotten a bad ending at first and that's the first time I heard this track, so when I get to this dungeon and this music starts playing...
SPOILERS
Knowing the rep of SMT games, the fate of P3's MC, and what almost happened to Nanako at this point, I was thinking the absolute worst, "somebody's gonna freaking die! -__-"
A little slow for a final level theme, but I like it. Notice that its similar a few songs from Final Fantasy VII, notably the Main Theme and Heart of Anxiety. Heart of Anxiety is one of my Favorite FFVII songs (though I like the Crisis Core remix better). The first part sounds like Heart of Anxiety and the bits after that sound like the Main Theme of FFVII. It's like the composers mixed the two songs up. Maybe they were FFVII fans.
This song is a big slap on the face. "You got lazy and now your cousin's dead, uncle's suicidal, killer out on the loose, and everyone you know and loved will be brutally slaughtered by Shadows that will eventually take over the world and waste the life that saved the world that you were supposed to live up to. WAY TO GO."
Hey iv still gota go back and get the true ending i got the ending where she lives but tedy goes back and you never stop the mist too get the true ending do you have to max all s-links?
I like and hate this song. Its a good song but I hate it because its used for the bad ending. which was the ending I got my first time playing through. I cant for some reason get my self to play it again.
@runfreewillyrun well i threw him into the tv and got the bad ending but i heard if you didnt she would be in the hospital still but alive its like you let someone live and she lives its karma
meh.......... i could've just typed in corridor and it'd come out =.=''''''''''' instead i had to waste 30 minutes when i searched for 回廊 and nothing p4 related came up =.=
@T94OWH It also says " You kick ass at this game" it just depends on how far you get... a certain decision must be taken lightly. It's a tough one to get... but i understood the problem at the time. Emotions get in the way of your choice. Remember that next playthrough. XP
@justhere21 Or, just save before the choise and do not save on your save to make different choise... also, I am at moment in way to true ending, and this music just, makes my dungeon crawl peaceful...
bad ending sucks. this song just makes the ending more ''wtf? The end?''', and you think there's something missing xD. The worst part of it is when your friends just watch you leave with no emotion -.- Just makes it more ''kthxbye, dun care''. I don't know how to really explain how bad the bad ending is xD
The first time I encounter this music was the bad ending of the game. And by God, does this music fit that ending. It makes me feel like... slow, and peaceful. Like a forgotten memory.
And the difference as the credit roll. Without images, just white words on a black background. It was so a calm enjoyment of the peacefulness of it all.
Don't get me wrong, I love Never More too.. but something about Corridor works as an ending theme...
This one gives me the chills when I think about Izanami. Thankfully I was at lvl 94, but the atmosphere is killing it, seriously! You can feel it right through it! Hope I`m not the only one thinking like this! ;)
I actually really like this music. In my opinion, I never saw it as sad but rather hopeful. Of course, it's a bit gloomy... but it also feels as if everything has been laid to rest. Whether if that's a good feeling or not is up to you.
The music feels like it's immobile--- as if change is moving ever so slowly but yet there's still this last strand of hope that everything will pay off in the future.
Why do people have to put spoilers on the soundtrack videos for? DX I know I don't have to read the comments but you could at least put SPOILER! before it, what's the point in me playing the rest of the game now I know what's gonna happen? The surprise is ruined for me, thanks a bunch! and btw I love this song even though it's the first time I've heard it xP
God this brings back bad memories. Just because I didn't say "I haz a very bad feeling about this..." everybody dies! The punishment hardly seems proportionate to the mistake.
I loved this music, it gave me such a feeling of calm, I felt perfectly prepared to just head to the end and face down the final boss, I actually avoided encounters here, didn't want to disrupt the mood.
He's pretty handy with all of his elemental absorption skills, but after the Secret Base dungeon, there are many more superior Personas that can be used.
yeah. this theme really does sound peaceful. This is my most favorite dungeon BGM with Heaven being second. It's such a big breath of fresh air after going through all the chaos those dungeons before it.
Not only that but when I first got to the True Ending path, this song really helped me compose myself before going in for the final fight.
I REALLY REALLY love it.
It's a shame that it's too short though. I kinda wish that they made a longer version of it.
I got the bad end first and I looked at the screen until it stopped and was really depressed... But good thing I saved so I got to do the normal ending as well.
Strangely, everything prior to :30 makes me too scared to move in the final level. Probably because I played .flow...

This AND "Heaven" do that to me

yeah. this theme really does sound peaceful.

Well if my spouse ditched me in hell I'd be a little sad too.

Who would've thought that this is a dungeon BGM.
I had one of my friend who never plays any SMT games before listen to this BGM, and he thought it plays during a dramatic cut scene.

how do you get this, when the game hasnt even come out yet lol
Tamim992000 3 years ago
The OST came out already I think. If it didn't you could always record the music in-game.

oo. if the OST came out already than it makes sense. but how could u record the music-in game unless you imported the japanese version lol.
