good job but i have one problem not one time in the video did i see a constant patient contact and communication on something that serious u should have someone or a few people starting pre care during the whole rescue he could have had something worse with him that was unoticed and crashed out on ya cause you were focused on the rescue more then the patient but anyways good job and techneqie your departments different
...then there's the fact they didnt place a c-collar on the patient until AFTER extrication. It was a complicated extrication, but there is no excuse for these safety shortfalls.
A month ago I took an Extrication class given by Genisus and they showed us something new well new to me. I think it would have worked great here. What you do is with the cutters you make a cut infront of the seat track and one behind the seat track. then continue both thoues cuts with a saw-sall about 2 feet long ending with a 45'cut inward then you peel the floor over seat and all. You guys did a great job keep up the good work

Good job guys. A difficult rescue, compounded by poor access and you excelled. Keep up the good work!
Ignore the arm chair quarterbacks that no matter what, always do better than you. Usually they are the first to screw up.
