Upgrade Skyforge Steel Sword twice and it does 37 damage... You can get it around lvl 5-6 already if you want

It really helps on hard enemies and bosses

@HeIlOwnz You can't upgrade twice... Your upgrade is depending on your Smithing skill, you can upgrade it to the current best once you increase your skill. In other words, when you have 100 skill in smithing, you can only upgrade once, where the weapon will get the post-fix "Legendary".

@CowShaker Thats not completly true: If you get like 20 or so you can pick the first slot of the Smithing perk wich is 'Can create Steel armor and weapons and improve them twice as much'

So you can upgrade the sword from normal to fine and from fine to superior

I'm using a blade sword an I crafted it to epic so far so it does 49 damage. Instant kills on everything an kills a dragon really fast!!

@siegeh25 damage is based off your one handed skill. This mace has really high base stats. Arguably the best 1h wepaon in the game.

@Phayze101 not really, my one handed skill is 100 and yet the dagger is still shit, its called crafting and upgraded weapons, i upgraded this weapon (1 ebony ingot) and the damage still was crap, the daedric sword is 57 with 1 ebony
