Thanks for the update. We have a fiberglass pool as well and right now have a suction cleaner through the skimmer box. It does a decent job, but does not climb walls and taking the hose in and out is a pain, especially in the winter time when the water is freezing. Glad to hear your Aquabot is working well for you. Can you tell me the exact model #?
@whitleyca We have 60,000 litre (16,000 gallon) fibreglass pool. It has a lip all the way around (just under the water line), four large steps to the bottom and a kiddy deck on one side of the pool. We have tried zodiac, baracuda and pool shark cleaners. All were hopeless, would only clean 60-70% of the pool, and would constantly get stuck in corners. The Aquabot has been a dream. I love it. It operates independently of your pool filter, NEVER gets stuck and is a thorough clean in a 2 hr cycle.
@dvorake73 It is an Aquabot Bravo - out of the box. It has it's own built in brushes. It works wonderfully. I highly recommend them as a hassle free pool cleaner. They are pretty expensive, but well worth it IMHO.
