@cristinatachecha Glad you're enjoying the Maltese songs. You can see a playlist of all the Maltese songs we have on the mychoice series videos. Please search for "maltese singers playlist" on youtube for a full list of Maltese songs or songs sung by Maltese singers.
@97641282 Yes, Tony is great. i love his voice and his sense of humor. He did mention you, ta' sormkom catt. Regarding the Qormi people, Tony should remember that we have a guarantee that we're irgiel sa nofs in nhar while Sliema people and others have no guarantee at all :))
I always enjoy folk music and this singer certainly knows how to put a song across. The pictures you used were most interesting. A truly beautiful land that you live in!
@ShirleyJean1000 Thanks Shirley. The melody is based on Maltese folk music. Tony had something "nasty" to say about various villages in Malta. Funny that in our smallness we have our differences and it's common here for one villager to tease another villager; for example, the village where 97641282 (John) lives are known as having a flat bum; in my village, people are known to be gentlemen till 12 noon. The singer bragged that the town he comes from, Sliema, is the best :))
@gfks11 Thanks Judie and glad you enjoyed the melody of the song. It's a fun song - teasing various villages which most of them have some nickname and/or their own way of pronouncing certain words.
Tony Camilleri is a great singer and he's very popular with the Maltese both those living in Malta and also abroad.
To you and your family, the very best for the New Year.
