My KB 2.6 is far from "quiet". They just don't scream obnoxiously like the old roots style they use in the roush and gt500's. I think the 2.6 has the perfect amount of SC whine.

A little FYI for yuh dude, the Super Snake package is a factory performance option FROM Shelby, BY Shelby though this package voids the car's factory warranty. I know this because my Uncle Jay owns one(lucky bastard). From the factory, it weighs in at 4,000 plus pounds and with Mickey Thompson ET slicks it's capable of 10 second quarter-mile ETA's.

wrong, kenne bell has several different sizes. depending on which vehicle you are putting it on, and which boost setting you want to run. How loud the whine will be is usually related to the amount of boost being produced or the faster you spin the blower. high boost=loud whine, low boost less blower RPM's will be quieter.

At this point, I"m guessing you DIDN"T have a 2.4L - they haven't made those for our cars. What you meant was the 2.6L's don't have the whine like a non-effecient Eaton has. We don't, and hever have had, a 2.4 L. Carry on.

I think I know what I put on my car, it is a 2.4L Kenne Bell. It is the first Kenne Bell made for the 05+ cars and was later replaced by the 2.6. And I chose the Saleen for the looks, engine wasn't going to stay stock anyways so I wasn't worried about the drivetrain.

Hey I got a real question how good of gas milage do you get!!!! Or bad, I have a white 05 and I am plannin on running 14 pounds with forged internals

On mostly flat highway with the cruise set on 70, I get about 19/20 MPG. But I average out at about 14 MPG with a lot of city driving. My tune does need some tweaking though. If you drive it the same way normally and have a good tune, you shouldn't lose TOO much MPG.

Yea, I put some film overlays over the taillights. Since this video was made, I spray tinted the third brake light, used some 3M vinyl overlay on the little round lights on the front and I'm about to tint the headlights as well.
