I have biracial kids,(ages 3,10 and 14) and I have always felt and told them that they can identify in whatever way they choose. However, they should also be prepared for the repercussions; from the ignorance of others. They both (10 and 14) usually say they are black or biracial (black and white). Neither has ever said just white. They have the choice.
