The funny thing is that if you go to any of metrolink's terminal stations or storage yards on a Weekend, all you see are about 10 trainsets just sitting.
This is a good sign though. since Metrolink has a good funding source, we know that it's growing & it's having trouble keeping up w/ the demand. Most of us will see Metrolink start hauling masses of people like Metra & GO.
Ya Metrolink is such a great service. A few of my aunts and uncles take Metrolink a lot. They say it is very fast and good service. Freight trains don't like them especially through places like Glendale.
Very true. That's why many transportation advocates are pushing for separation of the rights-of-way. As much as most railfans don't want to see this, separating the right-of-way is a key step in solving this country's transportation problem.
That's because Glendale is all U.P. territory. That's why it seems like freight services don't like Metrolink. I'm not saying BNSF really cares for them a whole lot, but U.P.'s attitude towards passenger service is REALY BAD.
The most random train......EVER

Ya I consider UP my favorite railroad just because its what I see most. They have become increasingly less appealing.

I feel your pain, dude. I used to live along the U.P. Fresno Sub, and I just got tired of them fast. Now I live in predominately BNSF country.
