Am I the only person that thinks that without fucking muslims the world would be a better and much more peaceful place? Fucking Al Qaeda, fucking Iran. it always makes me laugh when journalists knock U2 and particularly Bono for these moments. had it been Nirvana or The Clash, they'd have been praised for being rebels speaking truth to power. U2 were exposing the reality of human beings in a horrifying situation. "In Cold Blood" accounts the reality of us sitting there watching our televisions in cold blood, while we sit there and do nothing. "Muslim by name", to me, means she is being targeted for the label that has been assigned to her.

U2 copped criticism for the link-ups as well. Is this the concert where the woman said, "We know you're not going to do anything for us. You're going to go back to a rock show. You're going to forget that we even exist. And we're all going to die"? If so, why did MTV leave that part out? In any case, I sincerely hope that the three women in that link-up are all alive and well today.
