Oh my God! I used to really love this game, Just brought back a lot of memories. I used to play it on an Amstard, does anyone remember a Robin Hood Type game also on Anstard??
He did 'disappear' to Holland for a few years but resurfaced back in the UK. There was an interview with him in Retro Gamer a few issues back (Manic Miner special), sad yet great story about him. Shame he doesnt release more
Did anyone ever finish this game??? only heard urban legends lol!! Even after entering the poke after screen picture (think it was 36759,0) out on a limb used to get you if you fell.please message me with any comments!
Someone did complete it,if I remember correctly there was a prize of a helicopter ride and champagne for the 1st one that did,I never did, could never get past the bloody banyan tree, aaah the memories :)
One of my favorite games ever. It was so huge, in that day. I liked the Commodore 64 version graphics and music. Currently making an homage to it for PC. Love your accent. Posted what I'm working on.
What? I thought this was Lords of Midnight follow up to Bugaboo the flea. The answer I think is at the bottle of my cider bottle. Must empty it to have a look.

I like jet Jet Willy 2 (on the peccy of course) better, it has all the rooms from the first game, plus extra rooms and it's a little faster.

Technician Ted was a cheeky ripoff of Jet Set Willy ... and also a great, fun game for the 48k. Happy, happy days!

This is not a review. You obviously know nothing about this game or the computer it was written for.

Is there any way to beat this game? I just wandered around forever and eventually got bored.
Going to hates was kinda funny though.

Hey, I completed this with the poke... took me some time, but when I did, he just ran to the loo and got his head stuck in, and that was it.
Really, the guy who posted this is an admireably enthusiastic amateur, can't even jump through the stairs like you need to.

Yeah, to get the item under the tree, you need to climb into the room from the screen below. It's a fun little puzzle to figure out.

This was the follow-up to Monty Miner if I remember correctly. Good game but tough. I prefer Jet Set Fawlty.

Bugaboo the fly was rescued from inside an empty cider bottle and the rest is history!

It was the follow up to Manic miner :)

So, what was the follow up to Monty Miner? I think that games such as Technician Fred took this thing a step further. A step too far, perhaps!
