@xcod88 nope, I've never experienced getting oil into the airbox after doing wheelies. sounds like you got a gasket or seal somewhere leaking badly, does the bike start and run ok? does it use a lot of oil?
@TheBluePills I filled the engine with oil until almost Max.After few run i saw oil licking from air filter...Now the oil level is stabilized between max and minimum...Dunno why i had that licking, maybe i put too much oil in the engine...very weird indeed m8...And yes,it starts ok,at the first kick, when engine is warm...Sorry for my bad english.Thx
@xcod88 don't worry about your english, it's very good. you might have filled to much oil, when you do a oilchange you put in about 1.4 liter of oil, start the engine and get it warm, then you check the oil level immediately when you stop it, if you wait too long to check the oil after stopping the engine you will get a false reading as the oil drains from the frame and down into the engine.
Respect for you and thanks for reply ( I will have to repair/change clutch because it is slipping) :/ and I will take the blue pills before riding;) regards
@mankinhonda650 thank you:) if you want a strong clutch you should look into the barnett dirt digger setup, it's the one I run and supposedly the strongest clutch for the XR650R available.
@xXsnitchyXx I'm running 14\48 I think, 3rd gear no clutch and you should be able to lift it pretty easy, getting up the balance point takes some works since the pig are so long and heavy, but pretty easy to control once yo have it there.
I'm no good with controling the rear brake though, I'll probably eat it hard one day.
Awesome .... hey, question .. were those lever guards standard equip. with the bike? smart accessory to have , the clutch lever on my trail bike looks like a "?" mark ha ha
@lolahavasuaz they are not stock, they are handguards made by acerbis, go to ebay and google handguards and you should find them in all price ranges and shapes.
@TheBluePills The whole time I was watching I was saying "do it ... DO IT!!!" But, I don't want to be responsible for encouraging dangerous behavior. Ride in your comfort zone. Road rash (or worse) is not worth the fleeting glory of a one handed wheelie. I can honestly tell you that the thousands I have spent rebuilding my shoulder, the 6 inch long needles, and 25 years of pain, was not worth trying to pop from the last whoop up to the top of the tabletop ... and missing. Ride safe.
@tempjohn1111 wise words indeed, I have to admit I'm not in as much control as I wish to be, I'm trying to learn to use the rear brake during wheelies, but for some reason it's extremely hard for me.
@TheBluePills Yea, the rear brake thing is a little weird. I actually spent years on smaller bikes hooking my foot under the rear brake to hold on in a wheelie. But on the 500, at 60+mph, even a small gust of wind can rock you back alot farther than you want to be and there isn't enough engine braking to bring the front end back down. Might not be so critical on the XR because of the increased engine braking, but on the CR try to keep your toe on the brake ... :)
Love the BRP!

@DarkWhiteProductions I'm running with the stock sprockets, don't remember the exact sizes, it's 14t front, but not sure on rear, might be 48 or 45.
