wonderfull played .... i do a EASY version now on the piano now in alfred piano course's level 2 .. wonderfull song .. it's a loveley song but you did AWSOME ! totaly respect !
Have you ever heard the world famous Mormon Tabernacle choir live on Temple Square In S.L.City sing Battle Hymn?Pres. Reagan called them America's Choir. You'll see people wipeing tears all over the tabernacle.
Yes - I have all their Recordings and listen to Music And the Spoken Word weekly. I believe someone has uploaded the MTC version on YouTube which you are referring too.
Thank you very much for this. My grandfather was a Veteran from WWII in the Pacific, and this was his favorite song. He would just sit in his chair every day and hum it... unfortunatley he died in 2004, and I still miss him very much. We all sung it at his funeral. Thank you for bringing back the wonderful memories.
His truth is MARCHING ON!!!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFULLY DONE...just like the Rest of the pieces you post! Thank you and GOD BLESS AND GOD KEEP BLESSING THE U.S.A. "as he Died to make men holy.. let us LIVE to make men free!!!" ..His Truth is Marching On!!!!
How appropriate with Memorial Day right ahead ! I play this in memory of ALL our troops who've fought for our freedom and especially my late friend Mark who gave 10 years service in Vietnam, My dad who served in both WWII and Korea, and ALL those currently serving worldwide, may GOD Bless each one and America ! Thank you my brother for sharing this !!!
I hope you don't mind, but I posted this to my facebook page in honor of all fallen veterans on the real "Memorial Day." I also played it after mass in memory of a choir member who survived D-Day. We used to do this just for him as a recessional on May 30. He died a few years ago, and I have to play it as a prayer in his memory. I used the same arrangement, but there is a transposition to C in the Baptist Hymnal and a descant to close with that is very nice. Thank you.
No Body Plays the words on their Instrament, They just Sing the Words and play anything.. He Plays every Word! That's What I Like.
