  • Thank you very much for this. My grandfather was a Veteran from WWII in the Pacific, and this was his favorite song. He would just sit in his chair every day and hum it... unfortunatley he died in 2004, and I still miss him very much. We all sung it at his funeral. Thank you for bringing back the wonderful memories.

    God Bless.

  • How appropriate with Memorial Day right ahead ! I play this in memory of ALL our troops who've fought for our freedom and especially my late friend Mark who gave 10 years service in Vietnam, My dad who served in both WWII and Korea, and ALL those currently serving worldwide, may GOD Bless each one and America ! Thank you my brother for sharing this !!!

  • Your welcome †

  • I hope you don't mind, but I posted this to my facebook page in honor of all fallen veterans on the real "Memorial Day." I also played it after mass in memory of a choir member who survived D-Day. We used to do this just for him as a recessional on May 30. He died a few years ago, and I have to play it as a prayer in his memory. I used the same arrangement, but there is a transposition to C in the Baptist Hymnal and a descant to close with that is very nice. Thank you.

  • Beautiful Arrangement thankx for sharing †
