In all aspects of Yes, each and every member contributed definitive changes, yet interwove with Yes's original sound. This is true of Trevor Rabin. Long time Yes fan, one of my favorites!
I loved this in 84-85. (Yes Version) Attending EMU at Ypsilanti and scoring the awesome women. Too bad all those women are now old maidens who don't know how to have fun.
Screw you old boring women who could'nt spell fun if your life depended on it.
YOUNG DUDES:
Get your dream woman before she gets to 40.
Even if you keep your hair, looks, body. They go thru a transformation that make therm so hard to deal with that you want to kill yourself.
@Warbux2112 I'll agree to that. I've been married for 25 years. Women are worthless past the age of 40, especially if they have/had kids. All they give a shit about is the kids, nothing else. The husband becomes 2nd rate.
@Helicon2112 That was the most stupidest comment I have ever read. What do you you mean by "after they had kids"? Didn´t you participate, Why didn´t you tell your wife that your love was for Yes and not for her. Love her and Yes, you idiot and grow up.
Neither my wife nor my daughter love the music I do (Yes, Pink Floyd, Rush, Saga, Marillion and so on, but I don´t care. Nor should you. MY FRIEND!
@Helicon2112 How cool are you after 40? And what do yo mean by "after they had kids"? Didn´t you participate? I live with a wife and a 13 year daughter who gives a fuck about Yes, Pink Floyd, Marillion, Saga and my absolute favourites; Rush, whom I saw in Malmoe, Sweden, two weeks ago.MY FRIEND. Grow up!!!
Guys, that was just great! Really enjoyed it! Good job on a hugely difficult vocal, awesome drums, and beautiful guitar playing. And well done video, too. Top notch!
Lead vocalist does a very good job on Rabin's initial verses, but the chorus originally featuring Anderson as well sounds extremely thin. A big part of what I (and probably most fans) appreciate in this song is the interplay of the two vocalists, both in the chorus and in the last section (from 5:00 or so). With only one lead singer, it sounds quite different and uninspiring to me. The backup provided by the bassist is barely present at all.
The vocals are fine, get a real audio system or whatev, maybe develop ur ear, maybe ur used to Jon Anderson. This guy hits the notes... it's not to high of key.
I have a fine audio system and I have a good ear; I'm a singer myself. His voice is strained, at the very limit of his range and thus has control or nuance. He's just screeching. Oh, and you should develop a personality.
I do wish the more drama tour would of happened mearly for Steve Howe Geoff Downes Alan White Chris Squire and Kevin Currie playing songs off of Drama and a few other yes tracks thrown in
it's the orignal Lineup of White of course after these videos weredone Ted stockwell left the band and was replaced by Geoff Downes (Asia, Ex buggles, Ex Yes).
amazing voice

Yeah, the vocalist really hurts this performance. I mean, he's not bad, it's just out of his range. They should have played it in a lower key.

Yes - this video was done 5 months before the MORE DRAMA tour was supposed to start with Ted Stockwell playing a large part in the band.
I find it interesting that both YES and ALAN WHITE's band change personnel so often. Makes me wonder what Alan's influence on "CHANGES" really is.
Anyways - really good version.
