Oh no, I did clean it with the kit, then I put everything back. It's sweetie's kit, and I didn't want to mess it up. If it'd been mine all the parts would have gone in the junk drawer, gotten scattered, never to be brought back together again.. hahaha

I use the same lens cleaner spray that I use for my glasses, works great. Lenz-Clenz. Aco Hardware sells it for about $1.75.
