This dubbed video is actually more realistic than the original series, in a sense, because Italian is the closest living thing to Latin and the voice actors don't all have ridiculously incongruous British accents.

He means rotation of the front line. You can't possibly expect someone to realistically hold a scutum and gladius and use it to fight the enemy effectively for longer than 5 minutes. Don't believe the bullshit you see in hollywood movies like Gladiator.
